My husband and I have been married 29 years and have two grown daughters. We are history lovers, college football fans and spend a good deal of time in the fall following my alma mater, UCF, around the country to cheer on the Knights. We love kayaking, hiking and camping.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home in July of 2020 and converted it into the Blue Coat Cottage. We are huge history buffs so purchasing a home in Gettysburg was a dream come true. It's especially fun to share our love of this area with others through the cottage.

What makes this property unique

The cottage sits directly across from Marsh Creek. This is the very waterway that General Robert E. Lee retreated over July 4, 1863 in a driving rain. It's a beautiful, serene area rich in history.
