My Favorite Island in the Sun! My Favorite Island in the Sun is a wonderful, large single level 3-bedroom home. This amazing retreat is the perfect oasis for families or friends! Showcasing a versatile 75 foot, (25 yard), two lane lap pool, this home has unique appeal to athletes and coaches looking to train.

The pool was specifically designed for swimming laps, while still offering the “fun” side of a pool and with the addition of the baja shelf… soaking up some rays and relaxing!

Situated near the iconic Ironman World Championship bike course it is a perfect base for those competing in Ironman, Honu 70.3 Lavaman or booking for great training vacation for athletes of ALL levels.

My Favorite Island in the Sun provides a perfect setting for your Hawaii getaway. It is designed for up to 6 people and provides an upscale, relaxing, luxurious and well-equipped home for your Hawaiian Vacation. Whether hosting your multi-generation family or traveling with other families or couples there is space enough for everyone to be comfortable.

Enjoy views of the stunning Kohala Mountains, the ocean on the horizon, and Maui in the distance from the backyard… and amazing sunsets from your private backyard plunge pool or pool. The front yard offers views of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and stunning sunrises. The stars are amazing, and Hawaii is the only state in the United States where the Southern Cross, formally known as Crux, is visible in the night sky.

As a large single level home there are no stairs. The comfortable elegance of this home is sure to delight your entire family.

The house has central AC (low limit is 73°F) and FREE Wi-Fi. There is also a large laundry room in the home for your use.

The open room layout of the home includes a large kitchen, dining area, great room, and a large lanai with outdoor cooking and dining area, as well as an expansive kitchen island. The indoor living area features a large 65” UltraHD 4K TV, great for relaxing with complementary Cable and Apple TV after a long day of fun in the sun! Each bedroom also has a TV with Cable.

The lanai has a private BBQ, outdoor living room, and dining area, and is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. The lanai is tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. The swimming pool fronts the lanai and is equipped with mandatory pool alarms thus not allowing for the homes lanai doors to be kept open.

Minimum night varies seasonally, 5 -10 nights. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. Please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home. They do not record any conversation, but they do alert us if the noise levels exceed the residential limits in the area.

Our favorite vacation rental to date!

We loved everything about this place! It’s super spacious, kid friendly, and the location is perfect! It was sparkling clean when we arrived & we never ran out of amenities for our 2 week stay. Having a spacious backyard with a pool was a total game changer. It’s right off the highway and in the Waikoloa area, which has lots to do! We will definitely be back to this property again!

Paradise for a Week

We had stayed in Condos for the first two weeks of our stay in Hawaii. There were always too many people around to have peace and quiet. This house was wonderful, as it gave us just that. With everything that came with the house, we needed nothing, except our food. Even with six of us in the house, everyone had their own space. It was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful property

Great property with a location that was perfectly centralized to all the events we were seeking to do. I expected helicopter noise from the nearby tour landing area but barely heard them at all. The area does get quite windy at times but it was still paradise!

Amazing home

We stayed here for 10 days and loved it! We have 3 kids ages 11,7 and 4. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Safety for the kids by the pool with the home door alarms made it so much easier to relax. The sunsets and yard were amazing! We could not recommend this place more.
