Very nice place especially for families. Not a lot of privacy but a nice open layout. Fireplace and lake were the highlights for us. No WiFi, and little to no phone signal but it should stay that way! Very satisfied overall.

Nice home for family. We enjoyed the dark skies, outdoor fire and kayak. Get check-in instructions before arrival since no internet in area. Watched several funny videos. Eagle River restaurant had good dinners.

We were five women staying here, the location was perfect, it was wonderful to wake up with the lake view! The pictures are exactly as it looked. Plenty of space. We gave it a four star because there is no internet. This was an issue for a couple of us. Everything else was great.

We stayed 4 nights in this home and appreciated the rap around porch to sit on in the mornings with a cup of coffee. Great showers and sitting areas. We stayed in July and it was very warm, but we remained comfortable while at the home, probably because of the breeze from the Lake! Beautiful area that we explored!

The setting of this cabin is fantastic, with a perfect picture-frame view out onto the lake and ample distance from neighbors for peace and quiet. A well-equipped kitchen, extensive DVD library, and cozy wood stove made for a great get-away during a snowy UP weekend. The host was very courteous and responsive too. Will definitely book here again when we head back to the UP!

The host was responsive to my questions about the area informing me of where to go for Pasties and how to get to the location of the cabin. Unfortunately there were quite a bit of lights that were not working throughout the home. Also the main bathroom shower needs caulking as it leaks causing the rug to get damp. We were left with 2 garbage bags for 4 days for a family of 6 so had to purchase some in town. On a high note we loved the big windows looking out at the lake.
