About the host
Hosted by Jonathan Olinger
We arrived at THE LAND as airbnb guests. Instantly we felt a deep connection to the land and this beautiful space. Just out of curiosity we decided to do a google search to see what was for sale in the area, lo and behold, the very property we were staying at was listed for sale. So we bought it !
It's been a real adventure. Our vision is to create a sustainable eco-friendly designer living space. We are trying to restore the land, the trees, and orchard that had been grossly neglected by the previous owners who hadn't watered or nurtured the land in over 2 years. Additionally we are moving into full solar energy, composting of all organic matter, recycling of greywater, a massive watershed management project, as well as planting our own veggies that hopefully we will be available for sale to all guests in the next year.
