Loved it, we enjoyed our stay. It was roomy and mostly clean. I would go back in a heartbeat. However, time for some new furniture in the downstairs area. If you advertise an outdoor grill, Foosball table and dartboard they should be in better working condition, after all that was a big plus in selecting the place. For summer rentals the outside property should be mowed and weeded so you can enjoy the outdoors as well. If you charge a cleaning deposit, it is best to make sure the entire property is clean before the next renters including the fridge in the garage. The outside garbage cans should be emptied before the next renters, otherwise how do you know who did what? I hope that we get all of our deposit back and are not stuck paying for some other people's uncleanliness.
Place was as promised. The check in and check out process was simple and easy. We stayed in the summer but can just imagine how great it would be to be there during the ski season.
Set up well for large groups.
We loved the cabin. It was so spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to be together or to spread out and have our "own space", which is a must with teenagers. They like having their own space. Loved the view from the deck and the fact the temperature was 10 degrees cooler at the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the kids, ages 5 to 18, loved the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked. Liked having the extra fridge in the garage for beverages.
The house looks exactly the way it appears online. It was spacious and clean, with nice views. There were two washers and two dryers, which made it convenient for everyone who needed to do laundry to get it done. The location was convenient to Lead, Deadwood and Spearfish, but a little further away from Rapid City attractions than we would have liked. The property manager was very proactive with communication prior to our stay. We didn't have any issues while we were there. The only constructive feedback is that we were required to have the dishwasher emptied and all dishes put away before we left. This made it difficult to eat breakfast and complete all clean up on the last day, before heading out on a long drive. Not a huge concern, but most VRBOs just ask that you load and start the dishwasher before heading out. All in all, it was a nice property and we would stay there again if ever in the area.
House accommodated our family of 14 perfectly.
It was very easy to get to right off the main road. The view was great. The only thing bad was the sofa pull outs, the kids could not sleep on them, they could use some new ones.
We would definitely consider staying there again.
We are a group of friends that have done Labor Day weekend getaways for almost 20 years. This beautiful property was great for all of us to have our own sleeping area and plenty of room at the large round dining table for us to eat together and play lots of cards and games. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, cookware and supplies. The large floor to ceiling windows in the living/dining area gave us beautiful views of the outdoors, spotting turkeys and deer at various times during our stay
Our family had a great time in this cabin! The cabin is beautiful, well stocked with all the necessities. Easy drive to Lead & Deadwood. Our family made a lot of good memories here. Thank you for letting us enjoy our family vacation in your vacation home!!
A great cabin - and great access to the slopes. We were very pleased.
We were very pleased with the property. Comfortable, cozy, and great access to the slopes. Our only complaint is not enough bathrooms for the number of people that can sleep in the cabin. We would have liked a later check-out time and an earlier check-in time.

Thanks for staying! We're glad you enjoyed the cabin. This time of year when we have back to back renters we have to stick to our check in/out times so the cleaners can get the house cleaned up and turned around, otherwise we can usually work something out for arrivals and departures :)
Thanks again for choosing Peak2 for your stay.

A good experience
We enjoyed the property a great deal. The house met our needs and was very nicely furnished and comfortable. Room to spread out. The deck and hot tub were nice to enjoy the outdoors. The one drawback was some construction going on in the area made the entrance area rather unattractive. Overall it was very good.

Thanks for staying! Unfortunately the cul de sac is public so we had no control over someone using it as a staging area for construction up the road, but it's done now so it's cleaned up and looks great :)

Great location
A group of 7 arriving the week before Sturgis and it worked perfect. Location was perfect -- the house was large enough with enough bathrooms and big open area. Hot tub was great and the garage was super. A few small issues - couch downstairs was worn out and ripped; mattress in downstairs bedroom was stained and the oven was dirty when we arrived.

Group-friendly Cabin
My husband and I, along with our grown daughter, connected at this cabin with my sister/brother-in-law and their 2 grown children. The cabin was clean, décor was contemporary, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed. The view from the deck was absolutely amazing. We overlooked the ski slope and could see well beyond. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. A full-size bathroom on every floor served the needs of all. There are two washer and two dryers - only one of each worked efficiently. Not a huge deal for us, but the maintenance could have been better for these items. For entertainment, we had fun playing games around the large kitchen table and we also enjoyed using the foosball table and darts in the basement. We didn't spend time in the garage, but it was large enough for 2+ cars and contained an additional fridge, as well as running water!! We really enjoyed the large, open concept of the cabin. If we return to the Black Hills, we would definitely consider re-renting this space!

Well kept and loved the Mountain Decor!
We stayed for 4 nights and loved the clean and tastefully decorated cabin. The views of the mountains, clouds, valleys and ski area were fantastic. We had a plugged drain in a shower and shortly after we called, it was fixed. The garage and extra refrigerator were a nice extra, along with the grill and well maintained hot tub. This cabin is close to Lead and Deadwood. Put this cabin on your list in the Black Hills.
