In addition, at the back of the Barn’s living space, there is also a cozy twin sleeping loft reached by ship’s ladder, & and an additional bath below it which includes a vintage claw foot tub. The Barn is sited within a gorgeous, pastoral setting on the island’s quiet west side. The building is nestled beside a large grassy lawn, where beyond it, guests can see the owner’s cottage, which is quite separate & occupied on occasion…. The Barn is surrounded by gorgeous open meadows where horses graze, & looks out over rolling hills to the distant sea where guests can watch the sunset each day from the building’s fabulous open-plan living space. The country kitchen features French doors that open out onto a small patio shaded by a lovely rustic pergola, covered in curly grape vines. Below the Barn is a wonderful outdoor shower facing west, and a shared, rustic garage space that offers guests use of their own laundry facilities. There’s a pretty pond across from the bottom of the drive, & miles of adjacent Greenway trails that will lead guests to stunning tranquil places & rocky beaches.
