Very nice clean property. It rained the whole time we were there, but you can't control the weather. We were still able to use the grill, peddleboat for a lap, and the hot tub and back porch rockers as it is a covered back porch. Farmers market run by traditional mennonites up the road was a fun close stop. Sweetwater downtown was adorable and had good shops, food and sweets. Would.love to visit again in the future.
A super awesome, magical place! We hated to leave. The back porch is enveloping, the view glorious. And, Lucas went above and beyond to make our stay special!
The cabin property and quarry are very clean and beautiful everything described in the info section is 100% accurate this individual goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is accommodating and we will be going back!!!!!
This little cabin is a soothing oasis that feels so very welcoming. The home takes full advantage of surrounding tranquil views. Cabin is super clean and very well maintained, not so much as a cobweb anywhere. My dog loved the fenced in yard. We did not need the tie out line I brought and Lucas had thoughtfully provided one as well (smaller or more ambitious dogs may try to venture thru the back but the rest is fenced). Provided well-seasoned firewood made a beautiful bonfire under the stars. The view is spectacular day and night. Location is perfect, close to Lost Sea and many trails we enjoyed. The hot tub after exploring was very much appreciated. We didn't use much electronic entertainment, although it was available. Personally found local geese most entertaining with morning coffee. Can't wait to come back!
This is a quiet scenic cabin that allows you to relax on the porch or in the hot tub all while overlooking the quarry. There are a number of activities in the area from rails to trails, The Lost Sea Cavern, to local parks. There is a great Amish farmers market about a mile up the road so if you are inclined to cook during your stay that is a great place to stock up. Overall its a great get away.
Amazing getaway! The property was well maintained and the cabin was gorgeous. I don’t think I’ve ever had so many towels at my disposal to use or that much wood to use at a bonfire. Everything was perfect. They even had all the streaming services up and ready so we got to watch our Sunday shows! Love this place and can’t wait to go back sometime!
We enjoyed this place. It was clean and accommodating. The hot tub at night watching the stars was amazing! Sitting on the covered porch overlooking that quarry was a fav. The bed downstairs was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I do wish it had a toaster and a coffee table. But other than that. It was great :)
This was a really cool spot. Perfect for a long weekend. The house was spotless, and they REALLY thought of everything! The aecade machine was a hit for when it was raining, but the main attraction stole the show with the whole family. The check in/out was seamless. Walmart grocery will even deliver. We will be visiting here again.
Very cute little cabin had fire pit, hot tub and the quarry. Out of all cabins that we have stayed at this was the cleanest place. Had everything we needed, smelled so good. My husband actually wanted me to message and ask what they had in there that smelled so good. Lol Had coffee , oatmeal pies , the stuff to make s’mores, also all kinds of seasonings and stuff . We were well pleased. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much
My goal this Thanksgiving was to have a low key, peaceful visit with my Dad that's had a rough year in and out of hospitals. This property helped achieve that.
It's absolutely gorgeous and the area is well kept. All of the added touches were nice and the espresso chocolates were Devine! Excellent water pressure on the shower, comfortable beds, gorgeous scenery (go for a walk and discover the little secret spots!)
My only word of advice is that an upgrade to pans and cutlery would make the kitchen more enjoyable to use.
But overall,a stay here won't disappoint!
On my list of peaceful escapes for sure!! scenery (
