Well-restored old-fashioned apartment

We stayed in this clean, well-organized apartament. Washing machine and dish washer, as well as hair dryers are part of the furniture and amenities available. The apartment is an old-fashioned one, but it's well restored.

Spacious, clean stay near shops and shopping centre.

We enjoyed our stay in this neighborhood, the house was comfortable and clean. The host was easy to communicate with and they met us at the apartment which was nice. We had some trouble with the buses, we seemed to get the one going to the end of the line. But we eventually found the metro and bolt helped also.

Stairway to heaven...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here nestled in the neighborhood. Accomodations were excellent, Gile was very helpful with quick responses. We were shocked to find four flights of stairs to get to the apt. as 2 of us are physically challenged

Great Spot

Nice clean apartment, all the appliances worked well. Good water pressure, decent beds. Could use a few more pillows on the beds but other than that a comfortable apartment. Convenience store a block away and 10 minute Uber to alot of the main attractions.

This apartment is exactly as listed. Two bathrooms, two bedrooms with queen beds. Kitchen has everything you need! If you are American, keep in mind there is no AC, only fans. It really was not an issue even though it was hot outside. At night it gets cool and the breeze is enough to sleep very comfortably. There is a washer available and clothespins for you to hang your clothes on the line. Really nice location, quiet, but near everything you want to do in Lisbon! Very happy we chose this place. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location

The location of the appartement is perfect. Nearby is a big shopping center where you get everything (supermarket, restaurants etc.). You can walk to the city easily or call an uber (3-5 euros). In the first night the plane noise is maybe disturbing. Between 11 pm and 6 am planes are not allowed.

Lisbon stay

The property was in an excellent location and within 5 to 10 minutes walk of several good restaurants. The apartment was as described and Gile and his colleague Lidiana were very prompt with replies to queries and easy to contact. We had a problem with a lack of water pressure in the shower over the bath but we coped with the excellent shower room. I did inform Lidiana but it was at the end of our stay and again she was very prompt in her reply with a promise to look into it. We had a super holiday here and would return.

Very enjoyable

We enjoyed the property very much. As others have commented, it is spacious, well laid out and well equipped. Short walk to the mall that has a large grocery store. Bus stop is about a two minute walk. Several restaurants in the area. A couple of things that I didn’t see on other reviews which I feel are important: This unit is on the top floor. 50 steps involved. Also, it is under the flight path at Lisbon airport. Neither of these things negatively affected our experience. We are fairly fit and are airline people. I can totally see where it could be an issue for others though

Clean, lots of space in an upcoming neighborhood

This was our first time to Lisbon, and we enjoyed the large, bright space that this property provided us. Gile was an excellent communicator and a good host. Being new to Lisbon, I didn’t realize where this property was in relation to the other parts of the city. I walk a lot, and I do not believe it is within a reasonable walking distance to the city centre. The Orique neighborhood is great if you want to experience more authentic, younger, middle class Portuguese culture. Lots of shops, restaurants, and everyday Portuguese life happening. We enjoyed this, but I could see it being an issue for others. But be aware that Google maps says it is a hilly 1.1km away from the nearest metro station (Rato). It didn’t look like you could continently park a car here either (not sure why you’d want a car in Lisbon though). We are seasoned travellers who enjoy extra walking, so we enjoyed our stay.

Le séjour s'est très bien déroulé. L'appartement est agréable, très propre et assez bien situé. Attention cependant, beaucoup de marches assez raides pour y accéder (2éme étage). Et aussi, à noter le passage des avions, de tôt le matin à tard le soir. Et, si vous devez garer un véhicule, bon courage. A part cela, impeccable.

Geräumige Wohnung in guter Lage in Lissabon

Die Wohnung war sauber, geräumig und wie beschrieben. Die Koffer die steilen Treppen in den 1. Stock zu bekommen war zwar beschwerlich, aber ok. Wenn die Temperaturen draußen hochgehen im Sommer, ist es ohne Klimaanlage schon nicht so toll. Die Ventilatoren helfen nur bedingt, wir hatten aber zum Glück nur zwei heiße Tage. Wenn man viel Zeit in der Wohnung verbringt, nervt der starke Fluglärm sehr, aber wir waren ja nur zum schlafen und essen da. Wenn die Fenster zu sind geht es, aber bei warmen Wetter hat man ja auch gerne mal die Fenster auf :-) Der Empfang und Check in war super, der Vermieter sehr herzlich, nett und verständnisvoll für unsere Verspätung. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist super und es ist nett eingerichtet. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Lage ist für die Unternehmungen in der Stadt super. Es fährt ein Bus direkt vor der Tür, ebenso nah ist die Endstation der Tram 28. Einkaufen geht auch sehr gut. Ein großes EK Zentrum (Amoreiras) ist nicht weit, kleine Läden fußläufig. Es lohnt sich Abends auf die Dachterrasse des Einkaufszentrums zu gehen. Man hat einen tollen Blick 360 Grad auf Lissabon. Alles in allem super Tage, die wir hier hatten, vielen Dank für alles!
