Overall stay and location was good! We would definitely stay here again! The views were amazing and were nice to wake up to! We also liked how this unit was higher in the resort. Cabin was very spacious.

Thank you for your great review, Aubrey! We're happy your stay was enjoyable, and we'd love to host your next cabin getaway to the Smokies!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a little far out of town but it wasn't a problem. The reason for giving it a 4 was at 67 years of age going up and down the stairs to the bedroom was not the best. The cabin is very nice and has pretty much all the amenities one would want, so if you're young or an ambitious older person then it would be ideal. BTW, the view was absolutely stunning!

Allen, thank you so much for your honest feedback! We're glad to hear that you had a great stay and were able to enjoy the beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains. We truly appreciate your review, and we hope to host you again in the future!
This is a beautiful cabin with breath taking views. We had a difficult time getting in, because the directions said to hit the check mark on the lockbox to wake it up. Unfortunately, there was not a checkmark on the box. It took us 25 minutes to figure out how to unlock it. We called the property managers number and had to leave a voicemail. No one returned our call until 10:30 the next morning. We also could not get the hot tub to warm up. It was stuck at 72. I called the number again and the agent was able to help us rectify the issue. The fireplace made a noise that made it not enjoyable to sit in front of and the carpeting could have used a deep clean. Other than that, the kitchen has everything you need in it. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We completely enjoyed the view from all the windows, balcony and hot tub. It's a beautiful area!!

Your comments about the hot tub, fireplace, and carpeting have been noted, and we appreciate your understanding. We're so glad you enjoyed the beautiful views and found the kitchen and bathrooms to your liking.

Christmas Beware
Checked in Christmas Eve for a three day rental. They didn’t send door code in email, had to call. It was 3 degrees outside. There was no running water, heat never rose above 57. Gas fireplace worked and then stopped. There were several light bulbs out in the cabin making it all dimly lit. Called property management and was told we were # 27 in the work order line and they couldn’t give any estimation when or if it would be fixed that day or the next. After 5 hours of waiting we locked up and checked into a hotel. They charged us anyways and offered a $300 gift card for future vacation stay with them. VRBO customer service is horrible. They told us to leave due to the conditions and insured us funds would not be released to the property. We called three different times trying to ensure it was resolved and they started three different cases because you never got same rep and previous rep didn’t finish the case filing.

We absolutely hate that your stay was affected by the winter storms, Jason, and we apologize for any and all inconveniences that this has caused you and your guests. We completely understand your frustration when it comes to having no running water, no heat, limited power, and an inoperable fireplace, as this is unacceptable and not the norm. Our guests' safety is important to us, and we worked diligently through the winter storm to make sure that our guests were notified of the weather conditions and power outages in the area. With the storms affecting the entire area, we had no properties to move you to that we could guarantee power. We do see that a refund has been processed on our end. We understand how heartbreaking this may have been for you and your guests, and we apologize for that once again. We hope to have the opportunity to host a more memorable stay in the Smokies in the near future.
