Un cocon en campagne

GĂźte trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. (du jamais vu!) On y trouve un matĂ©riel incroyable pour se dĂ©tendre, cuisiner, jouer, s’informer. Le jacuzzi est trĂšs apprĂ©ciable et les parties communes ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©es par nos ados ( babyfoot et piscine). Les deux cheminĂ©es du gĂźte sont aussi bien agrĂ©ables en automne et confĂšrent Ă  ce lieu authenticitĂ© et confort. Excellent contact avec la propriĂ©taire qui pense Ă  tout et qui a tout prĂ©vu. La convivialitĂ© est un maĂźtre mot chez elle. Et que dire de la Dordogne, ce magnifique dĂ©partement !

Perfect Holiday Near Sarlat; Pascale is Amazing!

This property is in a gorgeous setting - rolling wooded hills. Very peaceful and scenic. 8 women of a certain age, from USA and Canada, spent 9 nights (there were six of us after the first 2 nights). We rented both the bigger cottage and the small one - after there were 6 of us, we could all have easily fit in the big one. Every room is thoughtfully decorated and the bathrooms are incredible. So nice to have good water pressure and lots of hot water and toilets and showers that work properly. All appliances were in working order and everything was spotless. There were plenty of linens and towels. Pascale has three little dogs that are delightful - we all enjoyed them! A nice welcome basket awaited us in each cottage, and I cannot think of a single utensil or item we needed and could not find. The real gift, though, is Pascale. She is so warm and friendly and helpful, I feel like I have a new friend. She went out of her way to pick me up in Brive to take me to the rental agency, because only the Hertz agency has vans with automatic transmission, and it isn't near the train station. Prior to that, she made many phone calls on my behalf finding just that vehicle to rent, and helping me get it booked. She then led us all to Souillac, where we picked up the rest of our people and their luggage, Then, on our last day, she did it all again, even though she needed to prepare the cottages for 12 arriving guests that afternoon. She also arranged for an appointment, and drove, and acted as interpreter with a physician when one of our party was ill. The dinner she prepared for us the first night we arrived was so good, and a friendly, welcoming evening was had under the hazelnut trees in the yard. Delicious food and great company. If you get a chance to have brunch at the castle whose owner she knows, in St. Genies, it is an unforgettable experience. The pool house has to be seen to be believed. It is like having a whole cottage beside the pool, (sans bedroom), and our group ate there almost every night. The pool is wonderful, warm and sparkling clean. I could go on and on, but you can see that 5 stars aren't enough - I would give 10 stars, and I can't wait to return! Thank you, Pascale!

Belle et agréable maison, superbe piscine.

Belle maison, bien située et au calme. Il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer un bon séjour. La piscine chauffée à une centaine de mÚtres de la maison est vraiment trÚs agréable et Pascale est aux petits soins.

Il ne pouvait y avoir de meilleur Ă©crin que cette ravissante maison pour rĂ©aliser les surprises que j'avais rĂ©servĂ©es aux membres de ma famille : tout, dans les moindres dĂ©tails, y est pensĂ© pour offrir un accueil chaleureux et permettre Ă  chacun de se sentir si bien dĂšs l'arrivĂ©e ! Rien ne manque dans cette maison comme dans la roulotte ! Chacun bĂ©nĂ©ficie d'un espace privĂ© avec un confort de grande qualitĂ© ! TrĂšs fonctionnelle, chacun, 5 personnes de 25 Ă  presque 90 ans en ce qui nous concerne, Ă©tait ravi de son sĂ©jour ...! Le dĂźner d'arrivĂ©e et le nĂ©cessaire pour le petit dĂ©jeuner du lendemain, du "fait maison" et/ou issus des producteurs locaux, le linge (draps, serviettes de toilette...) fourni, la literie, la vaisselle en quantitĂ© pour des plus grandes familles et avec des enfants petits ou ados, les jeux, les bouquins, on se croirait chez soi !! Vous avez besoin de quelquechose ? Vous ĂȘtes sur de le trouver...tout y est incroyable !! fil Ă  couture, boules quies pour lutter contre les ronfleurs, bouillotte contre maux passagers.....Jusqu'aux attentions aussi pour accueillir les occupants de la roulotte : chocolats et apĂ©ritif pour fĂȘter PĂąques dans le rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, thĂ© de qualitĂ© en plus des prestations optimales tout comme dans le gĂźte indĂ©pendant : dĂ©coration trĂšs trĂšs chouette, kitchenette trĂšs bien organisĂ©e, chauffage tv.... La maison indĂ©pendante et typique au milieu d'un jardin a plusieurs espaces qui sont, lĂ  aussi, pensĂ©s pour que chacun puisse profiter du calme et de la sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ© du site. C'est inoui d'imaginer le travail de rĂ©novation qui y a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©alisĂ© : et tellement agrĂ©able de sĂ©journer dans cette ancienne bĂątisse avec un si grand niveau de confort !!! Et la campagne environnante y est magnifique ! Tout le monde a apprĂ©ciĂ© le feu de cheminĂ©e (avec le bois Ă  disposition) Ă  chaque petit dĂ©jeuner et dĂźner : extra !! Nous avons vraiment passĂ© des moments inoubliables grĂące Ă  l'accueil de Pascale, sa gentillesse et son souci prononcĂ© pour le bien ĂȘtre de chaque occupant ! Et ses bonnes adresses pour dĂ©guster des recettes typiques du pays ! Ne manquez pas l'Auberge du bareil chez Sardan Ă  la chapelle Aubareil notamment : une institution Ă  rĂ©server pour partager un moment chaleureux avec les gens du pays ! Un grand merci Ă  Pascale qui, mise dans la confidence, a vraiment mis tout Ă  disposition pour que ces moments surprises puissent se rĂ©aliser dans les meilleures conditions! Nous espĂ©rons pouvoir y revenir un jour prochain !!

Bonsoir, Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Simeyrols . La maison est trÚs agréable et son environnement magnifique (spécial amoureux de la nature et du silence) La proximité de Sarlat et de la vallée de la Dordogne permettent de nombreuses escapades ludiques, culturelles ou gastronomiques. Gßte trÚs bien équipé et bien situé. Cadre magnifique. La propriétaire est super sympa. Le soleil et la chaleur étaient au rendez-vous, nous avons donc profité pleinement de la piscine. Séjour super sympa. Nous ne manquerons pas d'y retourner trÚs prochainement.
