Very clean and location was great. Need to invest in new couches and maybe a fire pit for the deck. You should also check the gas tanks for the grill, and get a few more forks. Otherwise, it was perfect!

New couches were ordered a few days before your visit and are now here. There is nothing wrong with the grill and we’re thankful you pointed out the missing forks, we will replace them. We had plenty of forks up until just a few days ago. Not sure what happened. A fire pit is not safe on a wooden deck and we feel it is an unwarranted risk as well as environmentally damaging. But to give us a 3 star review for these issues is disproportionately harsh for the issues reported. Other than the criticisms, you stated it was “perfect”, 3 stars don’t reflect that perspective. We have a beautiful apartment and almost perfect review history, this review will likely but unfairly be damaging to the success of our apartment. You should be careful about slamming great hosts due to minor issues that pop up during peak season.

Neighborhood experience in the big city

We had a wonderful stay, and this location was perfect for our family vacation. The deck out back is a perfect place to read a book and drink some coffee to start your day. We loved being walking distance to a grocery store, liquor store, and plenty of bar and restaurant options. A quick 15 minute walk for us on the Brown Line to head downtown. Be sure to check out S&G's restaurant for breakfast, and get a pizza from Side Street Saloon!

gREAT TIME HAD IN cHICAGO

I booked this VRBO with my two brothers for a weekend of fun going to the Cards/Cubs series over the fourth. I booked it mainly because of its location close to Wrigley Field. The add said 15-20 minute walk to the stadium , but in reality it ended up being closer to 40 minutes for a couple of 70 individuals and their 62 year old brother, Other than that it was exactly how it was pictured,
