We stayed at this property as our home base for a business trip, and the location worked out perfectly. We were able to easily access Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia, with groceries and gas available within about 15 minutes.For those visiting strictly for pleasure, the area offers endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, along with a handful of local restaurants.The property itself was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. During our downtime, we especially enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit. You can bring your own firewood or gather fallen deadwood from the surrounding woods, which is what we did.Overall, a great location for anyone looking to explore the region or simply enjoy a peaceful getaway.

This is our 2nd stay in 2 weeks and we could not happier. We plan on booking here each time we are in the area and they have an opening. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending time around the firepit. Cindy was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even helping us with a last‑minute change to our departure time, which we really appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d happily stay again!

Great little hideaway!
