About this property
Tidewatch- harborside cottage, unparalleled views
Uniquely perched above the water, Tidewatch offers magnificent views of the harbor, mountains and surrounding landscape from 3 sides of the house. Every room has a water view! 3 bedrooms plus a sleeping cabin on the shore, accommodates 8 people. Large 35'x 30' deck has 3 seating areas which include outdoor dining table & chairs, propane fire pit area with chairs and lounge chair area. The dock is a great spot to fish or launch your kayak. Truly unique! Sunday to Sunday booking.
The space
The main living area is on the top floor taking advantage of the truly stunning views. Second floor deck provides a small outdoor vista for viewing the sites or small group dining while the spiral staircase affords access to the massive deck below. The master bedroom has double doors leading to the deck. Wake up with the sun should you choose, and wander out on to the deck with your favorite morning beverage and watch the wildlife. A pair of eagles can often be seen across the way on John's Island. This area of the harbor is tidal so twice every 24 hours the water will recede allowing you to see the harbor floor and the wildlife that searches for food when it's low tide.
