Important Update: Beginning March 2025, Amelia by the Sea will undergo vital structural improvements to ensure our property's long-term beauty and safety. While we're excited about these enhancements, we want to be upfront with you: construction work, including concrete and steel repairs, will create noise during daytime hours for approximately 12 months. Construction Hours are 8am-5:30 M-F, no work on weekends.
We value your vacation experience and understand that peaceful oceanfront moments are precious. If you're considering a stay with us during this period, please factor this into your planning. Our team is happy to provide more specific details about the construction schedule to help you make the best decision for your stay.

Amelia by the Sea Condo 101 is in a private gated complex with open parking for a maximum of two vehicles per unit. This beachside ultra-convenient ground-floor corner unit has easy access to the beach boardwalk. Because this is an end unit, it has extra windows that allow for more natural light. This unit has a King Bed in the Master Bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a guest room with two queen beds, and a second bathroom close by adjacent to the hall. It sleeps up to six adults. (Sorry, No Pets are allowed.)

This unit has many amenities that will make you feel like you're at home, so you won't have to sacrifice any creature comforts. This unit comes equipped with a full kitchen, a separate dining area, complimentary cable TV, a washer/dryer, and Wifi throughout the condo (for those of you who need to stay in touch just the right amount!!) 

Enjoy the sand and surf your way. There is convenient access to the beach and an 800 ft fishing pier exclusive to our guests. The best part, no finishing license is required when fishing from this private pier. Want to enjoy just lounging about and getting some sun? There's a pool located on the ocean side of the complex. Additional amenities include a community grill with a picnic table and lounge chairs available on a first-come basis. For those interested in exercise: there are two very well-maintained tennis courts also available on a first-come basis and a highly rated, 27-hole municipal  Fernandina Beach Golf course a short two-minute drive from the condo.

The condo is right across the street from the local "Surf" restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner indoors or outdoors and a spacious deck with Live Music on select nights.

This is our second trip to Amelia, and this condo was perfect. Great room and comfortable for our family of 6. Great location with fantastic beach access and pool. Most important - the host is amazing. We had a small issue (totally my fault) and she responded within seconds and fixed the problem.

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and most everything we needed for the beach was provided. The first floor is not something I usually choose, but in this case it was a real win and made it very easy to carry things down to the shore. There was some glitch in the app and I didn’t get the entry instructions, but Melissa was very responsive and got me all the info I needed very quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful beach vacation!

Our family has visited Amelia Island in November for the past two years. We were very happy to find this condo for our stay this year! The unit was great for our family of six, with two queen-sized beds in the second bedroom. We enjoyed the sectional in the living room, the nice large kitchen, the convenience of the full-sized washer and dryer in the kitchen, and most especially the access to the beach right out our patio door! The kids were able to come and go to the beach and the pool easily, which increased our fun and relaxation significantly. The boys also enjoyed tossing a football in the grassy common area between our patio and the pool. Great choice for a family beach vacation!

The good and the bad

The condo is located on the bottom floor, which was amazing. It was very nice to come in from the beach and not have to climb stairs. There are some updates that need to be made to the condo. We realized that the washing machine and dryer were in the kitchen, however it would be better in the closet. The ice maker is very slow to make ice so we had to make trips to get ice. The master bathroom is very small compared to other condos at Amelia by the Sea.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures…

We had a great week away in beautiful Fernandina. Very pretty spot right on the water. It’s very family friendly and you can’t beat the beach here. The condition of this condo, however, is very disappointing especially for the price. It looks so clean and new online but it’s in need of serious repair. The hall bathroom wasn’t even finished being painted. The shower drain was rusted. Window treatments didn’t provide enough privacy and looked like they were about to fall down. My husband sat down in a chair and it broke. And he’s not a big guy…Oh and the dishwasher broke while we were there. Back patio needs to be painted. There was a nail breaking through the floor boards. This place has so much potential but needs a lot of work. But that said we highly recommend Fernandina Beach for your next beach getaway

Beautiful area but this unit needs a little love

The location is the best feature of this unit. This is a first floor, corner unit in a building with 70+ units. You don't need to deal with stairs or elevator so it's a quick walk to the beach or pool. The week started with a less than friendly message after we tried to pick up the keys at 3:20 PM but was told check-in was at 4. Unfortunately, there were many issues during the week but the rental agency was quick to respond to most of the issues. There were a few bugs in the unit so a visit by the exterminator was planned for mid-week. There were 2 electrical outlets that were lose and hanging out so the maintenance person stopped by. One outlet had a flashing red (replace) light that wasn't resolved. A clogged drain and a broken beach chair were addressed. One thing that wasn't addressed during the week was the unreliability of the internet. I manually rebooted the router and modem up to 3 times a day to keep it running. The ice maker in the freezer made just a few ice cubes overnight so the rental company brought us a bag of ice which was nice. From a feature perspective, the bathrooms are very small, definitely one person at a time type bathrooms. The mattresses are extra firm. The kitchen has a weird lay out with the washer and dryer to the left of the sink. The location of the stove is also a bit concerning being right under the cabinets without any exhaust. We made burgers one night for dinner and bending over caused me to hit my head on the cabinets more than once. The more serious issue is whether this is up to building code. Anything that might burn on the stove could set the cabinets on fire quickly. The microwave is incredibly small, smaller than a dorm type microwave. We found the blender in the back of the cabinet and looked like it was from the 70's. There are no lights on the patio making it difficult to play cards or do anything else after dark. This was our first time to Amelia Island and really enjoyed ourselves. This could be a great unit but really needs some serious updates. We'll be back to Amelia but wouldn't consider this unit again.

Family loved it!!

Everyone loved the time there. Little bit loved the cool breezes, granddaughter beached and pooled,nana and grandpa watched the little one and still managed to hit the surf across the street for happy hour.

We loved being on the ground floor and walking out to the beach without an elevator ride. It was beautifully decorated, the water pressure was great and it was very clean. If we come back to Amelia we want to stay at this same location.
