Enjoy a secluded, cozy mountain getaway in our "honeymooners" cabin! Nestled by the boundless beauty of the Tennessee Mountains, this quiet, two-story mountain cabin features a vintage design with a modern touch. It features 1 bedroom and a loft, living and dining spaces, and fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. Spend a quiet evening roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, or reading a good book. This place is a perfect choice to unwind with your loved ones.

During your stay, you have access to the entire property, including the fire pit in your patio. We have picnic tables, a winding road perfect for sledding down during the winter, beautiful tall trees at every turn you take, and sometimes you may be graced by the presence of deers.

For those looking to quench their thirst for adventure, wander the many trails, falls, visit Watauga Lake, the ski resorts or one of the various nearby attractions!

You will be provided a code to unlock the key box outside your cabin after booking.

We love Roan Mountain! Even though is a small town. We are close to everything 😊
Very calm and peaceful ambience!

You would definitely need a 4 wheel drive to get access to our property during winter and rainy season!
You will have access to our 27 acres to go around and explore. Feel free to walk around, hike, have a picnic or just chill. It is very safe out there! However you certainly will see different animals since we are in the mountains 🗻 And that’s the beauty of our place 💕
There is a lot of space for parking just make sure as respect with other guests, no to block the entire driveway since there are more cabins around and cars would have to pass by in order to get to their Stays!

We have put some much love and work in putting together everything for this cabin so you can enjoy your stay at the most! Every single corner has been decorated very carefully so you can relax and have the best experience out of it!

You will find bath robes for you to wear during your relaxed stay and also , spa slippers so you can feel even more like home!

Very nice

As advertised, very private and secluded. 5 min to ATV rental, 30 min to Sugar and Beech. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Hilda!

Nice getaway

It was a nice getaway for the weekend. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders in the cabin. It was smaller than what I thought it was going to be. The stairs to the loft and very steep. For the price I was disappointed. The shower hot/cold handle was opposite so the first day we thought we didn’t have hot water.

Cute little cabin

The cabin is cute as it can be and we so enjoyed the outside fire pit. We absolutely loved the color of the appliances. A few recommendations though: 1 Inform people of the very steep sidewalk down to the cabin on the website. 2) Buy a better mattress and add a box spring. We are 70 and 66 and getting up practically from off the floor was not enjoyable. The mattress sleeps awful and needs to be replaced. If new, it was a cheap one. We went 3 nights with practically no sleep. The little love seat is uncomfortable as you can feel the frame when seated and we are not big people. There were dead bugs in every room but it is a cabin in the woods so I just swept them up. Since furniture in the cabin is so scarce, upgrading to a better quality that equals the amount you pay to stay shouldn’t be an issue. Almost $1000 for three nights should equal quality, comfortable furniture.
