This one of a kind beautiful mountain estate is situated on 9.5 acres in a private, gated community. Nestled against national forest on two sides this property also features a natural mountain pond out back and views of Engineer Mountain in the distance. A year round creek runs through the property and outside the master suite a majestic seasonal waterfall can be heard and seen from most of the bedrooms. This location is ideal for those looking for privacy in the aspens and pines while still being only 4 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort, and a short drive into either Durango or Silverton. The home features first class finishes throughout and has recently been remodeled with all new furnishings. The large master suite has a fireplace and a beautiful bath with large shower and soaking tub. Also on the main level is a guest suite with private bath and balcony in addition to an office that is surrounded by windows and forest views that accommodates at least 2 people working. Starlink internet is available in case you need to work remotely or feel like streaming. The main level also has a hot tub on the balcony that has views of the national forest and the rest of the homes private acreage. 2 bedrooms up and 2 down make it perfect for multiple families. The downstairs has a bedroom with a king bed with a private bath and another bedroom with a king and queen bed with a bath that can be private or shared. For additional space, there is a bonus room downstairs that has a queen and two twins. Downstairs there is also a separate living space, kitchen, media room, and fully equipped gym. In the spacious garage you will also find a ping pong table for entertainment. Surrounded by hiking trails, you are right off the famous Mill Creek, in this truly enchanted forest hideaway.

Guys week

Great house for a guys week. Everyone had their own bed, two living spaces made for everyone not squished together, and the views and outdoors were awesome. Would recommend for large groups who want the outdoor views and indoor space. 10/10!

Stay in Durango

The property was a wonderful house with room for all of our family. It was a shoe less house, the floors really need to be washed. The floors looked clean, but each day we wore different socks and they were very dirty. Other than the floors the house seemed pretty clean. The house was everything we needed for our family.
