The perfect place to stay while visiting beautiful Mount Dora. Just a short walk or bike ride to historic downtown Mount Dora. Enjoy all the nearby shops, cafes and galleries. Located in an established neighborhood amongst other renovated historical cottages. Walk to the library, parks and to Lake Dora at sunset. Built in 1932, this inviting 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been recently renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and stove.

Steve is an absolutely wonderful host. The house is certainly cute, but it is older. My sister and I were visiting family close by so we didn’t spend much time at the Mermaid House…basically just a nice, comfortable place to sleep. Didn’t use the kitchen at all and Steve was immediately on a small issue we had with the bathroom sink. Great location in a Mt. Dora neighborhood close to downtown.

This house is absolutely adorable! We loved our time there and would absolutely book again. The owner was incredibly responsive with all questions and even mailed back a dress that was accidents left. Could not recommend this property more!

This place was awesome! Very clean, well maintained and the location was fantastic. Walking into town was easy and the neighbors were friendly, even to us out of towners. Our two little dogs loved it and clean up in the yard was easy. It was great having a little fenced in back yard to let them out in. We checked the fence to make sure they couldn't get it, and no problem, even for our little dogs- no escapes! Lets put it this way, We loved it! Definitely recommend this place!

Really liked the property, it was very cute. Some minor issues like non-functioning TV's and would have been nice to have some ice in the freezer, but overall it was nice and clean and I would stay again!

We are both graduates from the University of Central Florida and have three great kids. We work hard and play hard and this cabin/bungalow are the most relaxing places we know. We get to visit several times a year and enjoy snowboarding, fishing and just relaxing.
Steve Perez purchased this Cabin in 2004 and the Mt Dora Cozy Bungalow in 2020 along with The Conch house, Mermaid Cottage, Tiki Hut and Pink House.
