The cabin puts you close to some of the best outdoor experiences in the area. Spend your day hiking the trails of Yellow River State Forest, exploring Effigy Mounds National Monument, fishing or boating on the Mississippi River, or taking a scenic drive through the Driftless Area.

Our family grew up boating, exploring the outdoors and spending time in the Harpers Ferry area. We bought this cabin as a place to slow down and enjoy quiet moments together, but our lives are busy and we are not able to visit as often as we hoped. Rather than let the cabin sit empty, we want guests to enjoy it and experience the scenic views, peaceful atmosphere, great food and natural beauty of Northeast Iowa. Sharing this place feels better than keeping it to ourselves, and we love knowing others can make memories here too.

We chose this neighborhood because it gives instant access to the best parts of Northeast Iowa. Harpers Ferry sits in the middle of quiet bluffs, river views and miles of trails, and it is close to parks, forests, scenic drives and small town restaurants. It is the kind of place where you can spend the morning hiking, the afternoon on the river and the evening around the fire without driving far. We wanted a cabin that felt peaceful but still connected to everything, and this location offers that balance. It is a perfect landing spot for families, couples, outdoor adventurers and small groups who want comfort, quiet and easy access to the experiences that make this area special.
