Swim, lounge, and snorkel at the fabulous Mana Kai Maui Resort, the jewel at the end of one of Maui’s best beaches! The Mana Kai Maui Resort uniquely offers all the advantages of a condo vacation, but with the added amenities of a resort hotel. Choose from condominium or hotel-style accommodations. The condominiums include one and two-bedroom suites, complete with well-equipped kitchens and private lanais. In-room safes and free high-speed WiFi access are also available. Comfortable hotel-style suites with full baths are also available just steps away from the ocean. You'll also have access to two gas grills and laundry facilities available on the property. While our amenities do not include poolside towel service, our condo and hotel suites are equipped with beach towels for use at the pool and beach. Take advantage of the resort atmosphere with special features including free parking, a pool, open air dining with lounge, yoga classes with Maui Yoga Path, a fitness center, an activities center, a gift shop, a general store, a business center with computers, and conference/meeting facilities.

* This unit is a part of an adjoining room. If another guest has booked the other unit, you will share a front door and hallway.

This was our 5th stay at the Mana Kai...we love it! Relaxed complex, fantastic views, i love wandering downstairs right to the beautiful beach. You can walk the .8 mole beach to the pathway along the Wailea resorts. We've stayed in this unit several times now, and it wasn't as nice this time around. It felt like not much upkeep had been done since our last stay. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, the sliding room dividers were dirty, and the kitchen, while decently equipped with cooking items, was missing BBQ tools! One of the perks of the condo is using the grills downstairs and preparing a meal to eat on the lanai, watching the sunset. I had a tough time using the grill with only a short-handled kitchen spatula. But overall we loved our stay!

Amazing views, Amazing Kihei

The people of Kihei are some of the nicest people. The Mana Kai is a beautiful condominium complex with a grassy area and pool. They keep it very clean. There is a great little market on site and there is snorkeling right outside the condos. We saw sea turtles and even a monk seal. Terrific.

Great beachfront location

The property was clean and communication about accessibility of the unit was very good and concise. Bed was comfy and the unit has a wonderful view. It’s a great place overall. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Pool is kept clean and great temperature and the grassy area is lovely. Snorkeling right off this beach is perfect. Only thing I can recommend is maybe updating the couch and chairs and we only had one drying towel and no dish rags.

Great location

The unit was clean. However, the kitchen facet was not secured to the counter top. The bed was very comfortabke. Beautiful ocean view and we spotted whales from the lanai. Very nice beach and lawn area. Not far from shopping and dining.

I love being able to walk right out to the beach and have our own grassy area to watch the nightly sunsets. Loved the lanai. Found the condo needing a lot of repair. My family and I have been staying at the Mana Kai since the 70s. This is the first condo requiring a lot of work.

Comfortable Unit, Beautiful View!

This unit had everything we needed (although a beach umbrella would have been marvelous!) to enjoy the beach, pool, and grilling "at home." The lanai has a great view and wicker furniture where we enjoyed watching the sunrise over breakfast, and sunset over dinner. This condo is quite comfortable and had plenty of beach towels and kitchen stuff so we really felt at home. We can't wait to come back!

Location, location, location!!!

Location was perfect and the view was amazing! The things I expect to be better: sofa bed is old and very uncomfortable, sofa chairs were old and dirty, cookware could be nicer. There was less paper products than it was expected and was supposed to be supplied. Other than that, it was a great stay.

We have stayed at several mana kai units and this is the worst. Owner is clearly trying to keep constant bookings and not fix various very fixable issues. Sliding doors nog working or off rails, toilet that is loose and rocks, living room chairs that are very dirty and should have been cleaned or replaced a long time ago. Plus very limited utensils and dishes. We love the location and but not this unit!

Great Stay Until the End….

The unit was nice and a great location (better that the 2 stars given; would be 4) . Very much enjoyed the stay until the end. Here is where the 2 star rating comes in. We paid for a late checkout however the code stopped working before that checkout time. No one answered the “emergency” phone number so left 2 messages that we were locked out. 20-25 minutes later we got a call back, they then “researched” and another 15+ minutes later we finally got a new code and got in approximately 40 minutes after our original attempt to get in. This was now 35 minutes before we were supposed to checkout. Vacasa employees then start knocking on the door at 1:57pm for the 2pm late checkout. They were on the phone with another Vacasa employee who telling them to tell us we have to leave. A very disappointing end to an otherwise lovely time.

Location can't be beat, this spot is steps away from one of the best beaches in the area. Gorgeous ocean views from the balcony. The local community is lively and has a nice vibe of folks enjoying life in Hawaii. Regarding the accommodations, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a designated parking space. As other reviews mentioned, it could use a good maintenance - all sliding doors don't work well and the kitchen faucet is loose. Decent assortment of cooking supplies, but you will need to bring in every item (no olive oil, salt/pepper, etc hanging around). We found it a bit uncomfortable as a beach launching pad. There is exactly 1 towel hook, and hanging items on balcony prohibited (rightfully so), but where does one dry out their swimmers and beach towels, let alone bathing towels? Could use a couple floor mats -at least put one at the entry to catch those last few tiny bits of sand that the showers didn't quite catch. You have to go through 2 sets of heavy doors with 2 long punch pad codes to get into the unit - so leaving and returning were always an effort, especially when carting gear. Vacasa manages the unit through robo-texts and generic emails. There is a gimmicky welcome packet with coffee (but no filters) and a starter pack of a sponge and dish soap, along with a long list of how to behave. The unit was eligible for late check-out, if I paid more, so overall not a huge fan of Vacasa.

Manakai 709A

Great property right on one of the best beaches, great view from unit. We have stayed here many times in different units but they should let you know that the restaurant and deli/sundry store on property is closed for remodeling. Also the W/D is not private but each floor has a common one to for use. The unit is nice except for a few minor details. The bed frame/headboard needs to be replaced, its covering is ripped/torn. Also the kitchen has zero spices, not even salt & pepper. So if you are cooking at all buy everything you need.
