Welcome to our slice of paradise, the Driftwood Condo! Sleeps 7, Steps to a Private Beach, Private Pool, North Beach all with Beautiful Water/Lighthouse Views! Short walk to Town/Marinas!

*Please note that we rent to mature, respectful, and responsible families only. If you are looking to rent a home to host a party, stay up late, or disturb neighbors please continue your search as this is not the condo for you. If you are a quiet family or group of friends that will treat our condo and neighbors with respect, we gladly welcome you to stay as our guests. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!*

Newly updated kitchen, new King master bedroom, all rooms freshly painted, ready to go!

We provide start up necessities (bath towels, toilet paper, paper towel, cleaning supplies, hand soap, grill utensils, laundry supplies) Please bring towels for beach/pool.

2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1 sleeper sofa, and 1 futon. One Queen pull out bed and a futon are in the lowest level which is a private room when used as a ‘bedroom’. Both upstairs bedrooms have their own private balcony. All balconies have lighthouse and/or lake views.

Walk to our private beach and private heated pool or wander over to public side of North Beach, both just steps from condo. On the public beach you will find delightful snacks with a Shermans ice cream selection at the North Beach Concession stand along with public bathrooms. Just down North Shore Drive is the ever popular Bunde’s with a great breakfast selection along with Starbucks coffee.

We had a great week! The location couldn’t be more perfect. Not only we were we just steps away from private beach and snack shack, the walk to downtown was less than 10 minutes. The condo had everything we needed and was more than enough space for our family of four. We will definitely be back!

The view and beach access is great. But for 800 a night I expected more - the carpet is a bit old and the carpet on the stairs was dirty. The furniture is scuffed up and in need of upgrades, the main bedroom ceiling shows water damage. The upstairs bath floor is old and squeaky. I have used VRBOs many times and this is the first time there wasn't even a bar of soap in the shower. Usually there is a small basket of toiletries for guests - and that was at a lower price point.Overall, it seems like the owners are relying on location and not doing the much needed upkeep and renovations for the price point they are asking.

We’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The nightly rate for the condo is significantly less than $800; the total displayed through Vrbo can include taxes and platform/service fees that are outside of the owner’s control. The condo is located in a 50-year-old building, and our listing is intended to accurately reflect that it is not a newly renovated property. We work hard to maintain the condo while preserving the character of the property and make updates and improvements as needed. For example, the couches were brand new this season and have received very positive feedback from guests. The carpets are also professionally deep-cleaned at the beginning and end of each season. With a busy summer beach property and the amount of sand and foot traffic it experiences, some normal wear can occur between cleanings. Regarding the water damage mentioned in the master bedroom, we address maintenance and repairs as promptly as possible while also considering the impact that work can have on guests during a busy season with back-to-back reservations. Larger repairs that do not affect the functionality or safety of the home are often scheduled during the off-season so they can be completed thoroughly without disrupting guests’ stays. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were also provided during your stay and were located under the bathroom sink. We intentionally store these items there to keep the shower area uncluttered and provide guests with additional space for their personal products. We take guest feedback seriously and appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. We do wish we had been contacted during your stay, as we would have been happy to clarify the location of the amenities or address any concerns we were able to resolve during your visit. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable stay while continuing to maintain and improve the property.

Very nice and clean. Host had excellent communication and suggestions for my trip that matched what I was looking for. I would absolutely stay again. (The 4 star is only because I am a bit ocd and some features were dated such as the tub and caulking and basement carpet. However the classic decor suited my nostalgia just fine. )

Beautiful location. A short walk to the pool and beach. The kitchen had everything you could think of incase you forgot something back home. The only reason why I gave it a four star instead of five is because after three days of our visit we changed the AC to auto. It was set at fan. It was so hot upstairs in the bedrooms. Once we changed it we were comfortable
