The property was beautiful. You definitely want a 4WD or AWD vehicle if there is snow. Make sure you have the instructions to get there before you head up the mountain because the cell service is spotty once you get to the house. We did not have any issues with our stay and enjoyed our time there.
We loved staying here with our adult children. Tucked away but still easy to get to the city and other mountain towns. Iliana was great at letting us know what to expect with some unexpected snow. We will be keeping this on our top VRBO pick list.
We stayed here for a week during our daughter’s wedding. The property was gorgeous and the house was very comfortable. The master bed upstairs- SUPER comfy! Loved having the extra big closet up there to hide her wedding dress and let the train down to minimize wrinkling. We used the back deck a lot. We were bummed the one night we had to eat at the house, and just relax, we wanted to grill and have a fire but all the tanks were empty. We had run around all day doing wedding stuff so the last thing we wanted to do was run out and refill the tanks. The yard wasn’t quite what we thought for the dog, but it was ok. She’s a bigger dog so the longer natural grass was fine, but if I had brought my smaller dog it would not have been ideal. Tho we understand the grass was more natural for the wildlife. Overall we loved the stay.
As a 79 year old male with my spouse and 76-year-old sister, we were a little surprised to find the master bedroom on the second floor. This did create some challenges for hauling the luggage up the steep steps. We didn’t recall anything in the literature about That specific bedroom being on the second floor. Our age and condition also created a challenge for taking the garbage and recycling bins up to the roadside. It was a pretty steep incline and we weren’t able to do that. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay there
Three generations stayed for a week of wedding and birthday celebrations. The house was perfectly appointed for a 1 year old and all the adults. The location is quiet and gives the perfect mountain cabin experience while being close enough to catch a game in Denver, a concert at Red Rocks and day trips into Golden & Evergreen.
We try to get out of hot, humid weather at least 2 weeks every year with our Golden Retriever. We found Llana’s wonderful mountain home when searching and it looked perfect and it is. The location is great, short drive to Denver and a very short drive to Evergreen. At 8800’ it is high enough to stay cool but not too high for us flat landers. Plenty of restaurants close and all other needs. Llana is a pleasure to deal with and answered the few questions I had promptly. I plan to return soon
Went to Colorado for a Ryan Bingham concert as a gift from my three daughters at Red Rocks and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This property and the host made this a perfect place to spend time together in the true beauty of all that Colorado has to offer. Great amenities and clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!
Great home! Fully stocked with eveything you need. Excellent location that was close to Red Rocks. Super clean, spacious, and accomodating for a trip with my spouse and friends. Host was easy to work with and provided clear, helpful communication.
We were so happy with this gem of place in the mountains! The place was beautiful to the point we didn't want to leave because we had everything there. Easy ride to Red Rocks. The road up is twisty so take your time! 😀
Absolutely wonderful stay. Nicely stocked kitchen, comfy space with great bedrooms. Perfect cabin retreat close to great restaurants and amazing hikes.
This place has it all! The host literally thought of everything - a FULLY stocked kitchen, welcome treats, games, movies, books, bar and functional outdoor patio. Our dog loved the fenced in open space and we enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the gas fire pit going. We never left the home when staying here because there was no need to. It is the perfect getaway!
This place was everything and more! Beautiful place, clean and the perfect setting. Plenty of activities and hiking nearby. Restaurants close enough and we went to a concert at Red Rocks, which wasn’t a long drive, but definitely a beautiful journey. All the comforts of home. Easy to check in and the property manager was just a text away, quick response. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
We rented the house to get ready for my wedding and then me and my husband spent a couple nights here after the wedding. The location was beautiful and close enough to town. There were so many adorable touches around the house that made our stay extra special. The owner was SO helpful leading up to our stay and was always quick to respond to my questions. Overall, it couldn't have been a better experience!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully appointed home in the mountains. It was just so well decorated and had all the comforts of home. Our host was so accommodating and great at communicating. We would highly recommend this gem for a peaceful mountain getaway 😊
