We enjoyed our stay so much. Very clean, nice kitchen. TV had all the movies, HULU, Netflix amazon prime. Outdoor rocking chairs to sit and see the water. Block from the beach. Would love to go back.
Cute little house with a very short walk to the beach. There is a supermarket, liquor store, bars restaurants all within a 10-15 minute walk. We really enjoyed the location. The one bathroom can be tricky with a family of four but we made it work. We will definitely look at staying here again on our next summer visit to Connecticut.
Upside-down House was excellent! The owner wrote us a nice note, thanking us for being her first guests! She even included a bottle of champagne. Yes, the beach is nice. It is both very close and easy to walk to! We were very excited when we saw just how warm and inviting the owner made everything in the home. My only warning is that Upside-down house has some really fragile (but beautiful) decor and precious potted flowers, so we spent some time trying to keep some ornaments up and out of reach from our children! Their deck and backyard were spacious and were nice places for a large family to hang out. * Two large smart- tvs, dvds and cable kept everybody happy for nighttime. A folder of local restaurant menus were provided for food. For us family chefs, there was a medium sized grocery store a half mile up the road. Very classy! Furnishing and decor were all recent and looked very nice. Even though the beds were basic, they were sufficient for our needs and both of the couches are pullouts. There were many dozens of age appropriate toys for our three kids! They were thrilled all week long! Our family anticipated a relaxing 4th of July week at a beach house and this place didn’t disappoint!
