Our family of six (2 adults and 4 kids under 6 years) had such a wonderful stay here. It was clean and exactly as advertised. Beautiful home to stay in, loved the barrel sauna and hot tub. Proximity to Cox Beach was fabulous, and an easy drive to town and other sights. Will be staying here again!

We booked this spot because we wanted a sauna and it did not disappoint! Wood fired sauna was so lovely. Hot tub was great under the stars at night. Cox Bay us only 10 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect retreat, close to the beach.

The space was very generous: very comfortable for us and our dogs. So grateful that we could walk to Cox bay in under 10mins and then come back to a convenient outdoor shower and relaxing hot tub within the serene forest environment. It felt very private, despite there being a tenant on the property (per Tofino bylaws). The rooms were all comfortable, lovely linens and towels. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Everything is very comfortable and well appointed. at Cedar Sands Kitchen has anything you could need and more! The beds and pillows are lovely, hot tub roomy and the sauna was a treat! The location is wonderful: short walk to Cox Bay and very close to all amenities Tuff has to offer Would definitely recommend.

This property was excellent. We loved the kitchen, wood sauna, wood fire pit, hot tub and large deck. Cox beach is a short 10 minute walk and you can hear the crash of the waves from the house. We would definitely book again. The only thing I misread was the fact that the ensuite does not have a shower. There is a second outdoor shower, however, for 6 adults one indoor shower can be challenging. This wouldn’t stop us from rebooking. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It does require a bit of creativity when sharing the space with six adults. The outdoor shower is also a nice amenity for those feeling a bit adventurous!

Beautiful Home

We had the most amazing stay at Cedar Sands! The house was incredibly well set up; the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds and linens so comfy, and the salt spring island soaps and shampoos etc made it feel so luxurious. Honestly the best stocked and nicest set-up vacation rental I've ever stayed in. The hot tub was a huge highlight for our whole family! Great location so close to Cox Bay Beach and a short drive into town. Definitely recommend and will book again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Sands Cox Bay. The house was perfect with excellent amenities, able to enjoy the hot tub and sauna. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing tucked back in the beautiful forest. The location was perfect with walking distance to beaches and a quick drive into Tofino. The property management was very thoughtful making sure we had everything we needed and were having an exceptional stay. Made for a very memorable weekend.

The host was super easy to work with, and the tenant in the suite below was either very quiet or not home because we felt completely alone in the middle of the forest which was the goal! The home was perfectly set up and cozy - the only thing missing was food storage containers but otherwise all was fantastic!

Great Place to stay at Cox Bay

Enjoyed our stay in this very nice home in Tofino... We (all 6 of us) enjoyed the hot tub, games, Television and the short walk to surf at Cox Bay ...dogs loved it too! would recommend this accommodation!

Great place to stay!

The property was beautiful and in a terrific location. Speaking to the property manager was easy and they responded very timely with any questions we had. Definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to be back!
