COX BAY RETREAT is nestled in the forest and is a short 5-minute walk to the surfing paradise Cox Bay. This house is 3 bedroom with 2-full bathrooms and a wrap around deck, perfect for your morning coffee or afternoon relaxation. The kitchen and living area is an open concept with bar stools around the island great for socializing while you cook in.

Upstairs, you’ll find a full kitchen equipped with brand-new stainless steel appliances and a kitchen island that’s perfect for enjoying meals together. The cozy living room features a propane fireplace and a flat-screen TV, creating a warm and inviting space to relax after a day of exploring.
Just off the kitchen is a spacious primary bedroom with a king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom. The en-suite includes a large soaker tub and a stand-up shower for the ultimate comfort. From the bedroom, you can step out onto a generous upper deck with ample seating and a dining table—ideal for bringing your indoor meals outdoors.

The second and third bedrooms are located on the first floor (entrance level). Both bedrooms offers a queen beds, making it perfect for families or groups. There is also a full bathroom with a standup shower and separate bathtub on the first floor.

Outdoor Amenities: When the sun is shining in Tofino, step out onto your private balcony, which features a gas BBQ, a dining table for alfresco meals, and a comfortable sectional for lounging. Just below, you’ll find a hot tub—perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.

Location: We are located just steps from the iconic Cox Bay Beach—one of Tofino’s premier surf destinations. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking ocean views, endless beach walks, and world-class waves right at your doorstep. A private path from the property leads you directly to the beach, only a short 3–5 minute walk away.

The area is peaceful and secluded, surrounded by lush rainforest, yet still only minutes from Tofino’s shops, cafés, restaurants, and all the conveniences of town. It’s the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility.


Host Rules
Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.
Age min: must be 25 years or older to book.
During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.
3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays
We offer discounted rates on month long stay ONLY during our low season (Dec-Feb)
Pet Policy: Dogs allowed up to 2 dogs max, after owner approval. Sorry no Cats allowed!
Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws
Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!
Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus any pesky 3rd party fees they may collect). If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.
