Notice ... The city of Capitola and our home have survived the storms and are up and running well!!

This wonderful home in the quaint seaside town of Capitola will remind you of being in a small village in Italy. Brand new Queen bed in one bedroom and a super comfortable double in the 2nd bedroom. Brand new Murphy bed in the living room sleeps two.

It has a personal boat dock with (2)kayaks and a Paddleboard to use at your leisure. Or you can Kick on the deck and look out onto the beautiful Soquel Creek and observe nature.

Wonder down to the beach and enjoy the surf and the sun.

BBQ on the deck and watch the ducks meander by as you sip a glass of wine from one of the local wineries. Or just relax and read your favorite book in the privacy of your secure deck.

The lush green surroundings are breathtaking. If you feel the desire for shopping or dining out, the downtown and Esplanade are only a two-minute river walk away.

Enjoy the food and entertainment at the world-famous Shadow Brooke Restaurant!

No matter what you choose to do it will all be within walking distance of your front door.

We provide 1 parking spaces in front of the garage, May be extra parking when available.

We enjoyed our stay here, accommodations were clean, comfortable & great location! We met the owner upon move in who eas very welcoming & friendly! The door code eas easy to use. The view was fantastic & sitting on the deck, over- looking the water,was very relaxing.

This place was amazing! Bigger than it looked in the pictures, and things seemed new and/or well cared for. The porch was our fav place to hang out, and we loved being walking distance to the Village. Steve was super kind and very responsive.

We had peaceful mornings and beautiful nights here. One of our favorites stays in Capitola. We’ve come every year for the past 10 years or so during Labor Day weekend. This home is such a gem! The peaceful river, beautiful surroundings of trees and flowers makes a perfect picture for our early morning coffee and afternoon naps. Walking distance to everything.

Great location!

We loved this place! We sat on the lovely deck and used the kayak and paddle board. It was perfect for walking to the beach and walking to Gayle’s for pastries. We will definitely rent it again.

The highlight of this property really is the beautiful deck overlooking the creek! Its the perfect, peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature with hummingbirds, butterflies and ducks on the water. Loved having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening there. Also loved the walkability to everything. No need to get in the car if you don't want to. The dedicated parking space was also a plus. The house was clean and comfortable, and we did appreciate the smart TV. We will definitely return!

Tranquil Riverfront Gem

This property located on the Capitola river offers guests two vacation experiences in one. The river view is beautiful, peaceful and best enjoyed relaxing on the deck. The house is charming and comfortable making this a complete vacation all by itself. The beach/Village is a very short walk, and offers a lively, energetic experience with shops, restaurants, warm sand, and clean ocean air. Life is good in Capitola!

Paradise on the river

This was our second stay at this cozy river bungalow, and it was paradise once again! We love that it is dog friendly and has plenty of parking, and cannot wait to return!

Great Location

We planned a stay on our winter break. It rained most of the time but the house was cozy for us to stay in and convinient to restaurants and cafe's nearby. Would love to stay again in the summer to take advantage of the deck and watercraft.

Wonderful stay

This was the first time staying in vacation rental in capitola and it was an amazing experience! Definitely way better than staying in a hotel! The location is amazing and very tranquil will the creek in back of the house! Short 2 min walk to all the amenities of downtown! Perfect size for my family of 5!

A Fabulous Property!

I have had good VRBO stays before, but this one was the smoothest and most gorgeous one yet! Even before our visit, when there were technical glitches with getting electronic payment credited to the host, he was communicative, responsive, and accommodating. Once booked, Steve provided clear instructions about everything from entry into the property to expectations for check out. The unit itself is in walking distance from the shore and the view of the river from the back deck was spectacular. Our puppies also loved the foot traffic along the promenade at the rear of the property and made new friends ;) We would love to stay there again sometime.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Capitola at this great property! The location was beautiful and just a few minutes walking distance to the beach and town. The property was clean and comfortable for our family of four and small dog. We enjoyed cooking breakfast each morning and found the kitchen to be well stocked with what we needed. We hope to return someday!

We had a great time in Capitola and this house has a great location. It has a beautiful deck overlooking the river and is a short walk to the downtown and beach. It has ample parking for 2 cars so you don't have to drive into town and deal with parking. Perfect!!

A beautiful getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was very cozy especially with the gas fireplace. Having a river right outside was quite the bonus. Peaceful and extremely quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked although we never cooked. On vacation! : ) I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

Creekside idyll

It doesn't get any better in Capitola than being right on the creek, a two-minute walk from the beach, and a quick paddle from Shadowbrook. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need, including a great kitchen and deck grill. The area was very quiet at night. Highly recommended!

A true gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Located right on the river and equipped with a canoe and kayaks, this property is a quick walk into town and the beach. Also a very short drive to Santa Cruz. Fully equipped and as pictured. We especially enjoyed lounging on the back deck where we had multiple meals. The vegetation along the river path to town is extraordinary. Thanks Steve for a perfect getaway experience!
