This grand lodge is tucked back and nestled on 150 acres overlooking a 28 acre lake. This lodge has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 22 people for an overnight stay. Ready for business or pleasure, the amenities of this rustic 5-star lodge are extensive. A fully equipped kitchen, large gas grill, gas fireplace (seasonal), fire pit, bar and billiard room, screen-in and open-air porches, Internet and WIFI, Flat Screen TV’s throughout.

Take a 45-55 minute drive from your lodge to visit Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

Relax and stargaze around a firepit, or watch an amazing sunrise. The Double-Play Ranch is located in Albany 7 miles from Athens and Ohio University. The nearby State Park offers thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Guests will want to visit Athens and Ohio University or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. If guests venture 4 miles to Lake Snowden you can enjoy the waterpark with family and friends. Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

Property/house were possibly the cleanest we have ever been to!

We had trouble with the kitchen stove an hot tub not working when we arrived, but they sent somebody out the same evening to take care of the issues. There are some small cosmetic things that should be addressed in the house but when we brought them to their attention they were very workable an made the inconveniences right with us! One big concern is the deck railing outside needs repaired an is not overly practical for small children at the current time! We will check with them for vacations house in the future!

Spacious and Relaxing

Minor issues throughout the house took away from the overall experience. Missing outlet covers, holes or damage in drywall from door handles, missing light trim are some examples. Overall still 100% better than a hotel room and was enjoyable for our trip. The pool table definitely got some use during our trip.

Dads weekend

We enjoyed the property! We had a large group of people there for dad’s weekend. The proximity of the cabin to Ohio University was ideal. We did have a lot of technical difficulties with the televisions not working, which is an issue if you’re with a bunch of dads who want to watch football. They sent someone out to try to get things working, but to no avail. We ended up going out and purchasing a Roku as a temporary solution. All in all, it’s a beautiful property and lots of space for entertaining! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Don’t forget your own coffee for the coffee makers, and salt and pepper!

Nice Place!

Stayed here with 8 other guys on a motorcycle trip a couple weeks ago and we all loved it. Plenty of space for everyone, beds/baths all clean and working, no issues to speak of. Note to the motorcycle riders interested in staying here. It's about a half mile driveway of fairly loose gravel, with very loose large stones at the intersection where it meets the main road. It can be a bit sketchy, but is doable!
