Oceanfront! Private beach! Consciously and carefully curated, newly-renovated (2021) waterfront townhome in the historic district of N Truro, minutes from downtown Provincetown.

Rooms: Fully-equipped kitchen, elegant fish scale-tiled master bath, funky renovated half bath, second level master bedroom with private adjoining deck, gorgeous semi-private sleeping area for two with sitting deck, living room with private elegant beachfront patio.

Our vacation home offers 3 private outdoor spaces, because it is all about the spectacular location and views! Enjoy the private deck with double chaise/bar off large master bedroom with gorgeous views across the bay and of Provincetown, small sitting deck off Marilyn Room overlooking East Harbor and the dunes and the private patio off living room with private beach just steps away.

We can sleep 4 comfortably. We also have blazing-fast WiFi. New HVAC (2025)

Both our outdoor and indoor spaces are consciously curated and appointed with mindfully-made, fair trade furnishings. We feature antiques, fine art and unique, upcycled artifacts.

We took care to select sustainable, natural textiles and non-toxic, low-emission small wares and low-VOC paint in our recent renovation (May 2021). The mattress in the main bedroom is a new Avocado Eco Organic Mattress (2023) and our paper products are forest-friendly and made from sustainable bamboo. We are powered by renewable, green energy.

We offer luxury bedding and hope that your best night's sleep is at 7 Whales. We want you to relax and rejuvenate, and leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world!

The historic district of North Truro is a very special place. Perched on a small strip of land between Cape Cod Bay and East Harbor, 7 Whales affords you water views from both the front and back decks. We are minutes away (walkable) to Days Market and a short bike ride from Truro Vineyards and Salty Market.

You will have two parking spaces. If you don't care to drive, the Provincetown Shuttle runs every 30 minutes and will take you from our door to the heart of Provincetown. During low tide, you may choose to be adventurous and walk into P-Town!

It was a cold weekend but we loved walking the beach. Access was easy and convenient. One snafu was that the code we were given for the door didn't work and I had to search through the email for a different code, that was in the paperwork but not listed as the door code. Easily soved.

This property was an absolute stunner from decor to the view. The owners were a breeze to work with and we had a perfect stay! So close to Provincetown with so many wonderful shops and restaurants. We could have stayed in the patio looking at the water for days on end. Every piece furniture and decor seems carefully curated for a stylish and comfortable experience. Nights inside reading by the fire were also lovely! We will come here again in a heartbeat!

Great time, great place.

Exactly as advertised. No detail was omitted. A welcoming bottle of wine, decor beyond the usual “beach decorations” and fans and air conditioning (along with bay breezes)to make every inch of the place comfortable. You can watch sunrise from one side of the apartment and sunset from the other. Having the bay right out the back door is the best. It is also very conveniently located to P’town.

Relaxing Oceanside Escape

We visited for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful trip! Leah was a responsive, friendly and wonderful host that helped us at each stage of our trip. The unit is beautiful and truly right next to the water. I most enjoyed the many decks and watching the tide come in and out. Everything is carefully curated and decorated just as shown in the listing. The kitchen is very well appointed as are each of the rooms. The beds are comfortable and the stay was very quiet. I would recommend Leah’s beautiful home to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to Cape Cod!

Not only was this the most perfectly appointed space -everything you could possibly need in a kitchen, even paper supplies, and some really cool vintage furnishings and accessories. A gorgeous beachside retreat

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautifully-appointed bayside cottage. The house is terrific-comfortable, well stocked and stylishly decorated from top to bottom. The linens were especially nice, and included big, thick bath and beach towels. The bed was super comfortable and we fell asleep to the sound of waves from the bay lapping at the shore with cool breezes coming in from the water. The location is stunning with sunset views over the water every evening from two balconies. We grilled, swam, sunbathed, and RELAXED in this lovely home. We had a truly great time. The host was easy to work with and highly responsive. Thank you for giving us such a fantastic week away!

Perfect getaway to reset!

Beautiful home in the perfect location! My husband and I needed a getaway after my surgery and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and reset! The home is gorgeous and comfortable! The couch on the upper deck was my happy place! My husband enjoyed fishing while I relaxed and read. The property is so close to Provincetown so when we wanted to shop or eat we didn’t need to go far. The kitchen was fully stocked with whatever we needed so we really didn’t need to go out. The basket with wine and snacks was a welcome touch! We will be staying again!

Cosy condo by the bay

Nice condo stuffed with art and bric a brac. Very comfy outdoor spaces, quiet off season. When all units full, privacy could be a problem. Retro kitchen appliances work, but indicators on the stove knobs have mostly worn off, making use of the oven in particular a mystery. Comfortable bed and great shower and tons of towels. Having to cross a busy highway and unlock a dumpster to dispose of trash is a task too far for the rent paid. Leah was responsive and warm in all communication with her. All in all we had a rejuvenating week.

Perfection!

A friend and I spent 4 days here and both fell instantly in love. We were looking to stay on the water, near but not IN the hustle and bustle of Ptown, as well as near enough to drive to other parts of the cape. A tall ask, we know, but this place delivered!! It was quiet, serene, and relaxing. The neighbors were very helpful and friendly. The house itself is exactly as advertised. Amenities were modern and wonderful. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. Beds and linens were excellent. The owners were responsive and helpful. Check in and out were a breeze. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend!!! Our only noted minor improvements could be having wash cloths in the kitchen and kleenex available. Room darkening blinds in the Marilyn area would be great. Also, just a heads up that it seems in the off season the bus that typically stops at the house may reduce their stops and hours. Taxis into Ptown ran about $23 one way.

OUTSTANDING & GORGEOUS

We don't like it when Americans use the term 'gorgeous' in an inflationary way. However, there can be no other verdict for the house '7 Whales' in North Truro. In our 33-year relationship, we have traveled all over the world. Since we have always liked the peace and seclusion of a holiday home compared to a hotel complex, we have seen and lived in many houses during this time. However, none come close to the standard of the '7 Whales'. The landlady Leah seems to have a limitless sense of style and design. The house is incredibly rich and opulently furnished. Every detail looks as if it was individually hand selected. The functionality and range of features go far beyond the average holiday apartment. It starts with the location: the parking space for a car directly in front of the house, Cape Cod Bay directly behind the house. At high tide the sea almost reaches the terrace. On the two balconies and the terrace you can enjoy the sun from dawn to dusk. The sunsets over Provincetown, 4 miles away, are spectacular. The house itself has a bathroom with shower, a second guest toilet, an extensively equipped kitchen with an additional refrigerator, a washing machine with dryer function, several garden furniture and a gas grill. The care from the landlady in advance and the cleanliness were simply perfect. There is really nothing missing to spend an ideal holiday. That's why we only have one rating: *****+ Five Star Plus, the gold standard of tourism; could not be better!

Clean and comfortable, but not as private as advertised

Leah’s place was very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We really enjoyed the views from the master bedroom. Kitchen was fully stocked and the living area was well setup. They even had a couple of take home gifts for us (a bag of local coffee, bottle of wine, bar of soap), which we thought was very kind. Though our main disappointment was that the property wasn’t as private as advertised. The unit is within a shared community, meaning there are immediately adjacent neighbors attached on both sides. The neighbors make use of the common space between the unit and the beach to sunbathe and play ball etc, so we didn’t feel we had the privacy to just relax in the downstairs patio by the water. There was also noise from kids using that common space as playground (even though the unit itself is 25+). And yes, there’s a beach in front of the unit, shared among the condo community (so not the listing’s own private beach); but due to high tide, the beach disappears in the afternoons and it becomes a pool of water against the property retainer wall (you can then access the water via a ladder). We ended up ubering to nearby beaches for water access. There’re nice views of P-town that you can enjoy from the upper deck, and again, the interior of the home is very nicely setup with plenty of amenities. Finally, we recommend planning ahead and allowing ample time for the check-out chores list. We ended up having to check out couple hours late, but Leah was very understating.
