The hosts were incredibly nice and the space was very clean, but somehow I missed that this is the lower level of someone’s home. It took a minute to get comfortable as I was worried about disturbing the owners upstairs, but they were very accommodating and welcoming.
The property met the written description but the photos are misleading. There are pictures of an outbuilding that look like a cabin, I took this to be the rental property. In fact the rental space is in the basement of the owners house. The space served our purpose, an overnight stay for four, but I don't feel it would work well for an extended stay for four. Kitchenette (fridge, toaster, coffee maker) only seats two.Only source of heat was a gas stove in living room, bedrooms got quite cool.
Dennis and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. Mother Nature was a little unkind two day’s before so they were out of power when we got there but they had plenty of lights for us to use. The power came back on the next day. Fun little quick trip.
Fantastic stay. The hosts were wonderful. Very helpful for things to do or places to eat. Plenty of room for snowmobiles and trailer. Would definitely stay here again!
Denny was a great host, Very clean and comfortable cabin not far off snowmobile trail (even shorter if you take shortcut onto lake at bridge) Plenty of room for truck and trailers. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again
We rented the VRBO for overflow guests. The proximity to our house worked well for us. The VRBO has limited cooking options but that wasn’t a problem as the guests came to our house to eat. They seemed to enjoy their stay at the VRBO.
We had an event Saturday night in the Land O Lakes area and the location of the VRBO was perfect. Dennis was quick with responses to my questions. The home had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
