Wonderful stay; Comfortable and spacious; great for kids

We had a wonderful beach vacation in Cardiff and would definitely stay here again. The property is very conveniently located to quickly get to Moonlight and other local beaches. We appreciated the beach wagon, chairs, and umbrella, and our seven-year-old fell in love with ping-pong as there is a table in the garage.

Wedding weekend!

This is a wonderful home. It has all of the essentials you could want plus more. We managed to pick Hurricane Hilary weekend but all was ok. Wedding was beautiful and Mary was so accommodating and helpful to us. Perfect location to walk everywhere. I truly believe this was the best VRBO home I have ever rented!

Beautiful home in Beautiful Cardiff!

This house has everything you need and truly feels like a home. There are 3 living rooms, awesome outdoor spaces, and a super fun garage! The backyard has a hot tub and the upstairs patio/deck has beautiful ocean views. Its very comfortable! Beward of the hill to the beach, its only a 14 min walk but its a very steep hill (hard with wagon/stroller/kids) but we made it work! The beaches are great in that area and lots of fun restaurants, seaside market closeby, vons is only a 4 min drive, the park nearby was fun for the kids too! Thank you to Mary for being an awesome host!

We are both from the Midwest but have been in California on and off for the last 35 years. Tim surfs and golfs and we both play tennis, so San Diego is really the best place to live! Great vibe, great food, great fun!

Why they chose this property

We love our home in Cardiff! It is a short walk down the hill to Seaside Market, Pipes Cafe, and so many favorite local hangouts and restaurants. Cross coast highway and you are on the beach! Just couldn't ask for more!

What makes this property unique

Our home is roomy and yet feels like home. Plenty of space to stretch out and relax after a great day outside in the beautiful San Diego weather. The hot tub is fantastic for sore muscles or just to relax. The large kitchen and dining areas are perfect to gather to prepare meals together, and the rooftop deck is the ideal place to enjoy dinner in the cool San Diego evenings.
