We had a good time being together with our 2 children and their families. The house was an older place but it was nice. We had plenty room for 11 people. We loved the drive up to the house. It was beautiful. I enjoyed conversing through email with the host (Pat) . She was very helpful! Thank you Pat for sharing your house with us!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is very cute. It was well supplied. Plenty of blankets, towels, sheets, etc. Blankets everywhere, games, movies, lots of seating. Its very big. 3 levels, with a full bathroom on each level. Plenty of places to sleep and lots of space to move around. It is dated as far as the furniture goes, but its really cute and feels cozy. We would definitely book.again.

This cabin is a little hard to get to. It is not good if you have motion sickness. The cabin was not very clean and the dishes in the cabinets were often dirty. The cabin is spacious with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The furniture wasn’t great. Overall I feel that the cabin needs some tlc and more comfortable furniture. The balcony was nice but without enough sitting space. The chairs on the balcony were not in good shape. WI-FI was working well. We had no issues with that.
We stayed here for 4 days and it was overall a nice experience. Wifi signal is not good, but the direct tv worked fine. House was dated but comfortable. The wrap around deck and view were amazing.
I was looking for a mountain stay for my mom (and some family) who has to use a walker.
This place has accessibility for someone with those needs. Bedrooms on the main floor and a nice deck with easy access.
It was quiet and enjoyable. The cabin has plenty of space and everything we needed was provided.
The cabin itself just needs a few updates to a more modern cabin look. Everything has this old look that is kind of creepy (just my opinion). I'm not bougie but i just need things to look a certain way. The kitchen was the worst for me regarding the pots/pans were all mismatched and the kitchen could use a complete makeover. All in all we had a great time and the host was amazing!
Property is spacious, 3-levels, a little dark inside. Wireless and cell service were challenging, but shelves were full of books and games. Roadway in to the chalet is not for those with motion sickness concerns. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
This was our first trip to the mountains so we didn't know what to expect. The home was lovely and everyone enjoyed themselves. My 8 year old wasn't able to roast her marshmallows but she was happy with the trip.
If you are looking for a 4 Seasons or Hilton, this is not for you. But, if you want to stay in a mountain cabin, you can't do much better than this. I will say the ride up is not for the faint of heart but it is actually fun.
The house had plenty of room for everyone, tons of movies, books, and games. A great fireplace with a blower.
Internet and Direct TV can be challenging - but honestly that is not the reason we went up there.
Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home.
The cabin was great as far as space and location goes. There was space for everyone in our two families party with young children and teens. The amenities in the community are great with a very nice pool by a small lake with paddle boats and a clubhouse for family hangouts. The cabin is desperately in need of floor upggrades with an old and stinky carpet and updates to the furniture are needed. Those two things would make a huge difference! The place was cleaned very well by the cleaning service however. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
Overall very nice cabin. If you had kids that slept in sleeping bags you could get more than 11 in the cabin. Very nice wrap around porch. The grill could use a giod cleaning it was hard to get the flame all the way around but i got it. As they state hard to get anything to play on the tv but there is a dvd and vcr player with a good selection of movies. Yes theres a musty smell may need to het a dehumidifier gling in there and furnishings not as pictured and a bit outdated but in very good condition. The bumperpool rable was missing some if the balls but none in our group wanted to play it so thats ok. Theres a selection of board games and puzzles also. Very reasonably priced for such a big cabin. I dont think i would book in the winter with snow due to the turns in the roads but i bet its beautiful up there in the winter. Its hard to see on some of the roads at night with no street lamps and in the rain especially so i would be very careful if driving in at night the first time. My cousin left her id up there and the host was gracious enough to mail it back to us also.
We had an extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience at this property, followed by months of unresolved issues afterward. While the home initially appeared beautiful, it was not clean or safe to stay in. After returning from grocery shopping on our first night, we discovered rodent droppings throughout the kitchen, including on counters and inside drawers. Cabinets were cluttered and not cleaned. Pots and pans were dirty with food residue and disorganized,we had to wash every dish and clean the counters and stove ourselves. As we inspected further, we found rodent feces and urine on bedroom blankets, a downstairs bathroom cabinet containing rodent droppings, a bait trap, and a rodent nest, and extremely loud rodent activity throughout the night in walls, closets, and cabinets. Multiple family members could not sleep, and most refused to stay due to the clear health and safety hazard. We contacted the host immediately and received no response. We then contacted VRBO, provided extensive photo documentation, and repeatedly asked only to be relocated, as we were over six hours from home. Despite multiple escalations, we were told repeatedly that our case had not been sent to the correct department. VRBO was unable to reach the host and ultimately offered only a 100 credit, which was inappropriate given the severity of the situation. We were forced to leave the property entirely.Days later, the owner finally responded, apologized, and offered a refund. She requested ph
Chalet on the side of a mountain. Plenty of bedrooms and baths.Books, tapes, and games on site. Resort clubhouse, Pool, and trails were very nice.Kitchen needs a few more pots and pans and silverware.
