Wonderful stay in a lovely suite in a very charming neighborhood. We enjoyed the access to the river, watching the birds from the private patio, making a fire in the firepit, and exploring the nearby towns. Great vacation rental....Beautiful and clean...Awesome views of the Wallkill River...Lovely backyard, and landscape...House has everything, you will need...I didn't use the washer or dryer, or oven, but the kitchen is fully equipped, with utensils, a coffee maker, and toaster, and microwave...very nice place, for one person...I traveled alone...will rent again...Thank you, Kelly

Our stay was wonderful. The host really thought of everything when it came to the stay. It really felt like home during our stay because of the thoughful touches and cleanliness. The location was also fantastic, it had majestic and calming views of the river, walking path about a mile away, and close to both Newburgh and Kingston. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again. Comfortable, clean, relaxing stay.

What a special gem! This unit has a private and quiet feel, but so close to activities to keep you busy. The interior is clean. The kitchen has nice appliances and is stocked well with dishes and cookware.... including lots of basic spices and some condiments. Nice large bathroom with a full size washer and dryer. Beautiful area and view. Would definitely recommend for 2 people....and I look forward to returning to this unit again!

This was a wonderful weekend getaway for my boyfriend and me! Kelly was such a great host, very responsive to questions and accommodating. The apartment was very clean, and the backyard was amazing. We did a good amount of exploring in the area, but we especially loved being at the apartment and making bonfires in the back on the lake. Thanks for an awesome stay!

We stayed at the property for a week in July. We worked remotely while there (wifi was very reliable) and enjoyed the property and would recommend it if you're staying in the area. The extra touches like tissues, throw blankets, ice trays, and others were appreciated. While we didn't get an opportunity to use the bikes, it was a great option to have. The views are wonderful and the space very comfortable. Kelly was very responsive.It is worth noting that this unit is an apartment above the garage, not the main house. This was perfect for us, as we did not have to worry about any noise, as there was no one above or below us. There is a full staircase you have to go up to access the unit. There is not a landing at the top of the staircase - this was not an issue for us, but something to be aware of if you have any mobility issues. Also, the listing notes garage parking, and while there is a garage, it contained a ping pong table and we were instructed to park in the driveway. Perhaps the garage is accessible during other times of the year.

Even better. There are hiking trails right nearby. Walked those, and it was beautiful. The property is quiet and serene. The back deck leading to the fire pit is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset past the river. An incredible location to decompress and connect to those you love.

Our acre of waterfront sits in a unique "micro-climate" of tranquility. Science now recognizes the profound impact of "Blue Space"—the physiological shift that occurs when we are near flowing water. The Wallkill River provides a natural acoustic reset, lowering cortisol and regulating the nervous system. We chose this spot so our guests could experience "Soft Fascination," where the mind rests and focus returns simply by watching the current.
