(The twin and twin trundle are in downstairs living space) We focus on giving you endless options for entertainment when you return from hiking the gorgeous trails. Challenge your friends and family in shuffleboard, skeet ball, air hockey, ping pong (both indoor and outdoor), or billiards. In the city park literally right outside your doorstep, you will have access to sports fields for baseball, soccer, basketball, or just playing on the large castle playground. You can relax in our large 8x8 hot tub.

Host was very nice and very accommodating. When there was an issue mid-stay, the host responded immediately and had it fixed within an hour, which was very much appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay.This is a great property for kids/families. I would agree with the sentiment of other reviews that the photos look more up to date then the property and that certain areas could use improvements (deck/pool area, items in game room that have deteriorated with use, etc.). However, this did not take away from our enjoyment with our time there. Some minor tweaks would make it a 5 star.

We were incredibly excited to stay at this property for a family weekend. The home had enough bedrooms and space for our entire family and enough room to effectively spread out when we wanted to. There were plenty of spaces to get together and hang out also. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We also appreciated the large kitchen and all the amenities that came with the kitchen. The pool table and game room gave an extra fun little getaway feel. Upon arrival we realized our refrigerator wasn’t working. Our host was prompt to respond to our messages and try to find someone to fix the refrigerator. Since it was Labor Day weekend, they couldn’t find anyone. Instead they brought over a mini dorm style fridge, which wasn’t ideal, but was better than nothing. Everything else about our trip was amazing and we definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Fall getaway

Had such a wonderful experience staying in this house, perfect size for our group of 6. Close to all of the hocking hills trails. The hot tub and games in the basement provided entertainment during the fall weather. Wish we stayed longer!!

Great house! The pool, hot tub and downstairs entertainment area kept all the grand kids busy and entertained. The location was wonderful as it was easy to get to all the trails we selected to go to. Easy access to stores, gas.stations, etc... property manager was very responsive to a couple of inquiries we had. Family is already talking about next year.

Great neighborhood, close to attractions

This house was totally loaded with things to do for adults and kids of all ages. There is a huge backyard that extends into soccer fields and within walking distance to a large playground.

House is decent, great location, to stores and attractions but definitely needs some TLC. Amenities not as it seems. Game room in basement but only thing that works was the pool table, and pool and tree house was sketchy ( at least when we were there). Fire out was nice and hot tub in good shape. AC needs maintenance. Communication was lacking. I had to call VRBO to get ahold of host cause didn't respond to me in sending check in info with codes and then the code in front door didn't work, nor did they respond to send check out instructions.

Nice place FOUR bedrooms

The place is spacious and very comfortable. My only gripe is that it's listed as having 5 bedrooms when there are actually 4. A bed under the stairs doesn't count as a bedroom.

Unfortunately we found out the day before check in that the previous guests broke the ping pong table, understandable but when we asked if we could check in a couple of hours early, we never got a response. I felt like that would have been an easy way to “make it up” to us. We showed up at check in time and noticed right away how cloudy the pool was. The hot tub was clear. The inside was ok. The pictures definitely make it look nicer and cleaner than it is. The cleaning service isn’t doing this listing any favors. Nothing major enough to report, but little things that add up. (Dusty shelves, bathroom vanity drawers not wiped down, stains in the shower, dusty baseboards…) We didn’t have any all purpose cleaner to do it ourselves either.The stay was ok. The location was good for what we needed but the house definitely needs a deep clean and a repaint.

Great Stay

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend and the house had everything we needed & more. It was fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. It was super spacious. A great hot tub, gas grill, firepit, & area for kids to play. It’s close to town but still a very private secured location. I would definitely book again!!! No complaints the entire stay. 10/10.

The layout of the house is great! Unfortunately, it needs quite a bit of upkeep & updates. An exterminator would also be a plus. Pool had algae & deck needed repairs that could have caused mishaps & injuries.

Wonderful property and excellent location!

The property was beautifully decorated and accommodated our group very well. The layout was nice and the noise from other rooms went unnoticed by all. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our host was prompt when dealing with any issues and polite. The hot tub did have issues with the filter coming off and the skeeball game did not work but the arcade games were very fun and the entertainment sytem was great with plenty of room for everyone. Being so close the the playground was awesome as we had 2 children in our group, a very short walk and it was right there. Excellent stay overall. Thank you Lance!

I like it

This is a cozy comfortable house. It has almost everything you need for a holiday. Even coffee. The only thing was that I didn't have shampoo in the shower. The kids loved the playroom, tree house, pool and hot tub. The door opens simply with a code. If we are in the area again we will definitely rent this house again.

Hocking Hills Get Away

The house was in a private location with close proximity to stores and hiking trails. The house was clean and spacious; the basement was very nice and an ideal extra living space. The kitchen could use decent pans and large size bowls. Our biggest complaint is the outside area, the grass desperately needed to be mowed, the pool was not useable, it was a shade of green. A big reason we rented this house was to have a pool and we were not able to use it. Pictures are very deceiving on the web site, one lounge chair was broken, and deck was in rough shape. Overall, the stay was enjoyable.

Home worked but needs attention.

Home worked for what we needed but it needs some attention. Deck boards need are weak, around the pool needs weeded along with front gardens. Inside house needs a good cleaning as there is black mold inside the shower doors and on the shower curtains.
