Centrally located within walking distance to the beach, churches, gourmet restaurants, Washington Street Mall, adjacent to the Cape May Day Spa, off street parking, 52' flat screen TV, dining room for 10, 2300 square feet of living space with 800 square feet of storage, ceiling fans in all rooms, outdoor shower, beach box filled with beach chairs and located on a horse & carriage route. Rental includes professional cleaning before check in and on-call professional property management service and free WiFi. See sister house VRBO# 987006 for supplemental accommodations. This home can be rented in tandem with the sister houses VRBO #987006 and VRBO#2367192.

In walking distance to the Cape May Christmas parade-great for families!

We just spent a weekend here enjoying all Cape May has to offer at Christmas. The house was perfect for our needs. It felt homey and had everything we needed. It was a great location, close to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this house to others!

We had our annual girl's weekend in Cape May this year and could not have found a better place to stay. The house is beautiful, it is one block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and in a very safe and lovely neighborhood.

This is a beautiful property with easy walking access to the beach, parks and the center of town. The house is a beautifully designed home with pleanty of space for a small group. We mostly ate in and cooked. The kitchen and dining seating are more than ample. The photos look beautiful and they depict the house and interior perfectly. They neighborhood is gorgeous, topping off this great home.

We enjoyed our stay overall, perfect home for 7 adults. The kitchen was the best part of the home, large and well equipped. The house could use a deep cleaning, otherwise we loved it!

Perfect Girls Weekend

We booked this house for a girls weekend with 7 of my friends and cousins and it was perfect. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out. The location was great. Walkable to Washington street mall and The Washington Inn. Great location on a very quiet street.

Beautiful home, perfect location

The Corner Beach House was the perfect house for our annual extended family trip to Cape May. Everything was within walking distance: beach, Washington Square Mall shops and restaurants, and (the highlight for the kids) the arcade. The house was clean, peaceful, and had plenty of space for our large group. Marc and Pamela are great hosts and very attentive!

Christmas family get-to-gether

We all had a great time in this home. It was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The owners put up a Christmas tree and some other decorations and it made our stay even more special.

Beautiful family beach house!

I stayed here with my in laws, sister in law/ brother in law and my family for one week in June. The elevator was a huge help for my injured heel, especially staying on the 4th floor. There was plenty of room and bathroom space for everyone. The main floor with the kitchen and dining area was nice and open and good for family meals. The air conditioning worked well and the space was clean and organized nicely. The 3rd floor mattresses/ beds weren’t as comfortable as the mattress in the master suite but that was the only complaint from people. The porch, location, and distance to the beach/ shops was very manageable. Right across the street from the amazing day spa! We would stay again!

Wonderful girl's weekend

We had a large group for a girl's weekend, and the house was perfect! Even more beautiful than the photos! The house was very big and had a great layout in the living room for hanging out. The kithchen was very well stocked. The place is also located on a beautiful street a few blocks from the beach and the main downtown. I definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect location

This is the perfect location to have a family adventure! Walk to beach, walk to shopping, brewery and distillery a quick drive. House really lent itself to adult conversations after the kids went to sleep, and they could sleep in comfort. Had issues with the wifi and cable and owner was very responsive. Would definitely go again!! Thank you!!

Wife’s 50th Birthday

The house was perfect for 4 couples. Everyone had a room. The house was clean and the kitchen and living room area was a great space to hangout. We were walking distance to town and we took full advantage to go shop and eat. I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect Family Getaway

Marc and Pamela were super to work with. The place is clean, comfortable and has all the right touches. We had a family group of 8 adults and we each had our own queen bed and lots of space to unpack. The offstreet parking was a plus and so were the bikes! Who doesn't love a good bike ride to the beach. And we put together a couple of the house puzzles. Close to shopping and the beach and lovely porches to drink your coffee or cocktails. Can't wait to go back!

Good property, but interesting host dynamics

The property was great, and although it is a beach house, it should be more obvious that sheets and towels are not included, so be sure to bring some.I was staying here with friends for a bachelorette party, and the owner came by one day to ask if he could access the storage closet, which we thought was odd to knock on the door while we were leaving for the beach. Once he realized we were there for a bachelorette, he asked us not to hang tape on the walls. We weren't planning on it, but seems an odd ask.We wouldn't have been so turned off by the intrusion if not for the day we were checking out, which very clearly lists a checkout time of 10am. A few of us were sitting on the deck the morning of check, and the cleaning lady showed up at 8:30 to ask when we were leaving. Then the owner said good morning to us and was pacing back and forth for an hour waiting for us to leave. Then later that day he called my personal cell phone - after we checkout - to accuse me of breaking the elevator, even though we did not use it. It seems like they're not quite comfortable with renting out the property. We paid a lot of money for two nights and were visited both days, and made to feel like an inconvenience.

We originally purchased this property as a vacant lot and we realized our dream in creating a new vacation destination in historic downtown. As a vacationing family, our vision is to create the quintessential Cape May vacation experience that provides all of the amenities that we desire and enjoy on our family vacations . The house slogan "Be of Good Cheer" is a dedication and tribute to the former property owner and long standing Cape May resident Robert Fite. When we purchased the property from Mr. Fite, he was nothing but a true gentleman and exemplified Cape May hospitality.
