Lovely and quiet stay

We had a wonderful time- we were looking for a quiet place to relax after a crazy year as well as space for our energetic puppy to run; this was perfect. The wood stove kept the entire place comfortable and the kitchen was so well equipped we were able to make our traditional (and elaborate) New Year's meals. Close to lots of hiking as well as on plenty of land for peaceful early morning walks in the woods with the dog.

As a former VRBO host, and VRBO traveler... this was the BEST destination ever.

This residence on a mountaintop was simply an idyllic experience. I wanted privacy in a natural setting for my dog and me, but also wanted ease in having long-time friends and family come to visit. The interior layout and elegant interior decorating for this gorgeous rustic structure were fun, functional and fullfiling. First and second floor bathrooms, washer/dryer, ample cleaning supplies, lovely dinner and glass wear just made everything sooo warm and inviting. I spent much of my time outside on the wrap-around porch taking in the views of the mountains and working farmlife of the owners of this 350 acre farm. Working in the kitchen, barbecuing outside, and setting out great meals was so home-comfortable. Driving all through the farm and mountain roads of Eastern NY and Vermont were a joy every day. Communication with the host was ideal. I am definitely going to be coming back here.
