Cypress Breeze Guesthouse is a very comfortable, relaxing and fun family getaway. It is located on one of the highest points overlooking the lake, with a huge yard and the sound of the wind blowing through the 100+ year old cypress trees along our waterfront deck below. Cypress Breeze has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. One bedroom has 2 queen size beds and a TV. The second bedroom has 2 double beds and a single size futon. The living room has a sleeper sofa in front of the fireplace, a TV with spectrum cable, stereo and DVD player. The living room has a sliding glass door opening onto a covered patio overlooking the lake. There is a full kitchen and dining area that seats 6. There is a picnic table and BBQ grill on the patio.

We are 5 to 10 minutes by boat or car from Lake Breeze Ski Lodge Club. Our water front includes a boat slip and jet ski ramp on our wood deck underneath the biggest cypress tree you have ever seen! Then again, you could just swim or float in the lake, read a book under the cypress trees or on the patio or do absolutely nothing.

Fishing is very popular on the lake, especially in spring and fall when the skiers leave. We are 15 minutes from New Braunfels, where you can enjoy Schlitterbahn, Gruene and the quaint historical German heritage found there. For golfers, The Bandit Golf Course, just 5 minutes away, is rated the #7 golf course in Texas by 'Golf Week.' For shoppers, find a deal at The San Marcos Outlet Malls, about 20 minutes away. Texas Lutheran University in Seguin is about 10 to 15 minutes away.

Literal paradise

This property was perfect for our little group. Very well equipped with all the things you would need to stay. Early morning view from the dock was breath taking. We truly enjoyed our weekend of relaxation.

Great spot on the Lake

Great little house on the lake. Dock stays in shade under HUGE Cypress trees so you can watch kids play in the water all day. Upper back porch and house have great view through the tree canopy. Really pleasant getaway spot that I hope we visit again in the future. Donna and Family

This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of property. Nice and private. Huge, old trees provide shade all day long. Right on the river. Can't ask for a better place to spend the weekend floating.

Absolutely amazing stay!!

The property was in excellent condition, from the yard, to the dock and dock seating, to the interior. The whole place was very well kept, very clean, and a gorgeous location! The owners have taken great measure to stock the home with everything you could possibly need or want on your stay. The linens and bedding were clean and well stocked. Our family had a blast, and enjoyed our every moment here. We did not want to leave. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Relaxing and perfect stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend over Labor Day. Jim was very easy to work with and answered emails quickly. We also had good communication with the property manager - April. The property is exactly as advertised. We spent our days in the chairs by the water, and paddle boarding. It was quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a few days away.

Parent's 25th Anniversary Family Trip

Our stay was nothing short of Amazing. My family had a great time celebrating my parents anniversary weekend. The lake was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. The backyard was spacious and well cared for. The house had plenty of space, and had the home away from home feel that allowed us to fit right in and make the most of our time there. The owner, Jim was so helpful and took the time to answer all our questions. All in all it was a perfect family weekend.

Wonderful even when it rains

My husband and I were here from Maine for 2 months this winter to be nearer our son and away from the snow. The place was perfect for us. So clean and comfortable. Set above the lake with a constant view of the water we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves even through much of February when it was gray and drizzly. In March when spring began to arrive the birds and the sunshine made things even better. Fishing was very good (we avoided the weekends and spring break because the jet skis and powerboats were numerous). Jim, the owner, April and Hoppy were all so helpful. All in all it was a wonderful trip.

Beautiful view, clean house and amazing property managers!

We wanted to get away for the holiday weekend and enjoy a different view than our home that we have been quarantined in for the last couple of months. This property did not disappoint! The house was perfect and comfortable for our group of 7. When we arrived the house was VERY clean and had everything we needed. We also noticed as my kids ran down to the dock to jump in, that the rope swing was not usable (only reason for a 4 star with accuracy of online listing as the picture showed it). I texted April, the property manager, to ask about it and within no time she had someone over there to hang a new one. We really appreciated this as it was not an easy task once you see how large the trees are! Both April and Richard went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We really enjoyed having coffee and wine down on the waters edge each morning and evening. I highly recommend this property if you're considering the Lake McQueeney area!

Nice retreat on the water

We went during Thanksgiving, so the weather was cool and rainy at times. Inside was just what we were looking for to socialize. Back porch was covered and had a great view of the river. Dick on the water was a great place to relax. We’d go again!

I’ve been taking my kids and friends to this home for about 15 years. It’s the ideal spot for making memories! It’s clean, so nice, has great spaces, and the most beautiful yard and dock overlooking the lake. We love it here!

Perfect location to relax for a weekend!

The property has a perfect view of the lake and direct lake access with some amazingly large cypress trees! We spent most of our time outside and in the lake. The house is older but has all the amenities you need to have a relaxing time.
