We liked that it was a short walk to the center of Alden and that there several right of ways to Torch Lake. It was also convenient to nearby golf courses.

Kitchen is small cooking would be a little challenging, bedroom was warm! But would stay there again, very cute, clean and perfect for 2 adults!
The great, little cabin had everything we needed for our two-week stay. Torch Lake was a short walk away as was downtown Alden.
We had no complaints and would return.
Perfect location to beach, town and restaurants.
We loved this sweet cottage. Sitting by the campfire at night was peaceful and so enjoyable. We will be back!
Thanks Paul for your hospitality!

We loved having you as our guest and we hope you return soon.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Sunset Cabin. It had everything that we needed and is within walking distance to Alden. There are also three public access points to the lake right off of Lake Street (accessible by taking the path behind the cabin).
Paul is a wonderful host and is very responsive. I don't think we could have found a better place to stay.

Great find so close to Torch Lake (it’s just down the hill)!!! Everything was as expected - everything we needed was there. Paul was very quick to respond to questions regarding both the property and the area. Kids loved walking to the park and the public access swimming nearby.

Thanks

Upon arriving to our rental the owner emailed us the details and was very helpful to questions I had about the area. Once we arrived I felt right at home. Our little cottage/cabin was nice and clean and ready for us to enjoy. Although this was not on the lake you can see the lake and it’s a short little walk. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will be sure to return !
