A cozy cabin overlooking pond, gardens and large lawn. The knotty pine interior is warm and inviting. The two room cabin offers 2 comfortable living room chairs, fully equipped kitchen (toaster oven, cook top, microwave, refrigerator), a very comfortable queen sized bed, 3/4 bath, heat pump mini split for heat and A/C and separate parking. No smoking and no open flame candles allowed. Free guest Internet Wifi access. Paved driveway is shared with the owner's residence. Just 10 minute drive to downtown Belfast. Relax outside around the pond and campfire ring with swinging benches. We welcome you to your Maine cabin experience.

WOW! best describes this beautiful place. John and Barbara are the very best host and hostess. They met us upon arrival and that initial meeting made us friends. The property is just beautiful and so well maintained. There was not anything that you would need in a cabin that was not there. They even provided choices in the coffee you could make. It was so peaceful there and so inviting. Even their two puppies were friendly and so well behaved. You are just a short distance from town if you would want to leave long enough to go there. I would recommend this place to anyone for that get-a-way you just need sometime.

The cottage was perfect for my dog and I. The directions on the cottage, what was there, where things were, request when checking out were perfect. It was spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated. They also provided local pamphlets and maps of activities, restaurants and tourist places to go. The hosts were pleasant and welcoming along with their two dogs.

It's our third time there and as always John and Barbara are great hosts. For those with pets please be careful as the cabin is near a roadway. Early on our second day, our Yorkies accidentally got out and headed for that road during the morning traffic. One made it back and the other didn't make it. The driver who hit her stopped and expressed her grief that she hit our dog. A gentleman who witnessed it, stopped the traffic and retrieved our dog (who had died instantly on impact). It wasn't the lady's fault; it was ours for losing control of the dogs. John and Barbara were kind enough to help us find a Vet to take care of our deceased Yorkie. Please be very, very careful if you bring pets. They don't know any better and it's a new place for them to explore, but they need strict control or a tragedy like ours can happen. The rest of the week went much better as we processed our grief and we enjoyed the remainder of our stay with our other Yorkie. Thanks again to our hosts.

This was our third time staying at the cozy cabin. Always a great experience. We appreciate the coffee that is provided by the host and Weavers across the street is perfect for any food, drink or supplies that you may need. Will definitely stay again.
