Overall, this was a great experience. Very convenient location in Leadville close to Ski Cooper. The house had everything we needed and had very reasonable checkout requirements. My only complaints were: the beds were too soft for my taste, there were some very minor cleaning issues, and the finish of some parts of the house were a bit shoddy. But it was clean, had tons of space and beds, and everything worked fine. Would happily stay here again.
This is a nicely maintained home within walking distance to everything in Leadville. The beds are comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. Great stay!
We were in town for the graduation ceremony at Colorado Mountain College. The house was a good base camp for graduation and exploring Leadville and Lake County. Very comfortable beds, nice big kitchen for cooking, and we were even able to get an early check-in!
Came for the skiing. It was a great convenient location for skiing and access to all Leadville has to offer! The pictures accurately describe the house, which is well stocked and had all we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent, which is always appreciated!
Had a great stay, the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only issue we had was a miss communication between the owner and the cleaners , which was resolved by the next day.
Great location, just as described, plenty of room for all of us and a short drive to Ski Cooper which is what we came for. Everything was excellent! Thank you!!
Great location, close to grocery store and less than 5 minutes from town. Extremely pet friendly with fenced in front and back yard. This is not a new house in perfect condition, but is a big house at a reasonable price. The only problem I ran into was trying to figure out all the light switches...
Loved that it was close to the train ride and restaurants. The house could have been stocked with more paper towels and toilet paper. Overall we had a very nice stay.
Great location - right in town and close to skiing Cooper
Great weekend. Easy to find the house and gain entry. Plenty of beds for lots of friends/family to stay. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was clean. Lots of hot water and showers were good. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to town. Definitely would book again.
The house was clean and the beds were comfy. The house did have a bit of a musty smell when you walked in but we kept the ceiling fans on and that helped. The kitchen was well stocked and there were great views out of the front and back windows. Good communication with the host. Overall we liked the house and would book again :)
Perfect house for our two small families to visit Ski Cooper for a few days. Great location close to restaurants and grocery store, decent kitchen setup, and comfy linens. One note if you were traveling with very young children: the house isn't very well 'sound proofed' (as is to be expected for an older house!) which didn't bother us at all, but if you have sensitive young children just be sure to bring a noise machine! :)
We used the house for 5 adult bikers training for Leadville race. The house was equipped with everything we needed to roll out each day, clean up, grill out, and rest up. Close to everything when we wanted to go out on the town. Good value for July in Leadville.
We really enjoyed our stay at this Leadville home! Great fenced yard for our pups and we enjoyed no neighbors to the back of the property. Mountains encircled the property and could be seen from every window. Comfortable beds. We loved exploring turquoise lake, hiking, train ride and independence pass. Justin was very accommodating with an issue we had and communication was excellent. Can’t wait to come back!
The house seems to be still in renovation/upgrade mode so there are some quarky spots. Beds, pillows, linens, towels, and shower amenities are top notch. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances and sink made cooking for 6 a breeze. Thoughtful host provided a bag of ice in addition to ice maker. Would stay again.
Light switches taped over. Unfinished walls. Siding falling off house. Slow draining tub. Beds smelled like sheets not fresh. Musty odor to house.
The house was clean and rooms large, just way too expensive for what it is. Would not stay here again.
