Enjoy Our New House In Historic Leadville, including your pets.

Built in 2014, Withering Heights, located at 529 E. 9th Street is only 5 blocks from main street. Withering Heights is ready for you, your friends, family and pets as a home base for nearly every outdoor activity you can imagine. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, 1 and 1/2 baths, two bedrooms and a loft. There are beds for 8 people.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed on main level. The loft has one queen, one double futon, and one single bed. Also in the loft is a large enclosed bedroom with king bed and a balcony and a view of Turquoise Lake.
The walkout level ($150 extra/night) had one bedroom with queen bed, daybed with a trundle, full bath, living room with TV and kitchenette.
Withering Heights has an oversize attached two car garage, a smart flat screen TV and cable, WiFi, and gas logs for that cozy cabin feel.

The house is a great place to stay when in Leadville. We really enjoyed the distance from downtown, it was an easy walk and remote enough to avoid the traffic.Layout of the house was great for our group, plenty of sleeping space and the deck was a great feature when the weather was nice.

Stayed in Leadville for 5 days to just get away. Location was great and within 15-20 minutes of some of the most incredible trails I’ve ever hiked. A 3 min drive or 15 min walk to downtown was a huge plus. The house itself was cozy and truly felt like we were walking into a close friend’s house to stay for the week. Cozy, great views, well-equipped.

House was good for what we needed for 2 nights in Leadville & the hosts are quick to communicate if you need them. Spacious home w/ great views of Elbert & Massive. Had some check-in challenges, & host was quick to resolve. Garage is a nice bonus.Keep in mind that this is a pet-friendly home, meaning the home reflects previous furry guests. Grill needed a good cleaning prior to use. There was construction ongoing directly in front of the home, but we might be the only unlucky guests that had to deal with that.

Lovely cabin in Leadville

This is such a cute, cozy place to stay in Leadville! Beds are comfortable, and we loved having the garage to park the car since it was very cold while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful stay

Beautiful Views and fun town

Loved sitting out on the back deck enjoying the beautiful views from this awesome find in Leadville. Near the end of a dead end road so virtually no cars passed by and very dog friendly! Shower was super tiny but works well and kitchen was well stocked.

Wedding Getaway

Everything was perfect for attending a wedding. Great location! Great sleeping options. An iron and ironing board could be helpful, but not sure if weddings are that big of an activity there, so maybe it was just us. We brought our own and it was totally fine. Thank you for everything!

Comfortable stay in the mountains

We stayed with 2 families of 4 - 4 adults and 4 kids, for a week skiing vacation. The house was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed to make our week long vacation memorable. Communication with the owners was easy and they provided a quick response prior to our trip. I would highly recommend.

Mountain Gem

The home is very comfortable and has all the amenities one could want. But the views and proximity to town and hiking trails are what sets this home apart from others. We had a fabulous time and look forward to coming back.

Amazing Leadville Stay!

We stayed here for the Leadville Trail 100 MTB and the house/location was perfect. They have everything you need in the house with access to the 2 car garage. Walking distance to downtown and a short drive to the Safeway from groceries. Owners were super easy to deal with and great communication. Probably the highlight of this spot is the views of Mount Elbert and mount Massive right from the living room. When we come back to Leadville, this is where I will stay again.

We loved staying in this beautiful property. Everything about it was wonderful from the beautiful views on the deck to the comfort our family felt and staying here. There was plenty of room for us to enjoy the space and everything had great instructions and operated wonderfully the hosts were so great to communicate with and when we did have one small problem as a result of an excitable pet, they were awesome in helping to resolve it. There were great instructions on how to enjoy the home and the details and inclusions made it feel like we were staying with friends. The ease of check-in and checkout were great! Stand out details, included the deck with so many hummingbirds all day, the outstanding views, extra special touches of toys and family games plus the comfy bed and couches. The addition of the staples in toiletries and the pantry were so thoughtful and we did not have to worry if we packed the ketchup or extra bandaids. We loved how well cared for the Home was and everything worked and was top-notch. We would highly suggest this property for a vacation, and we so extremely disappointed when when ours came to an end. We will miss the ability to walk right into town or up into the hills for great hiking and the sunsets/sunrises from the deck were truly magical . The hosts have included everything for a perfect vacation and or only The only thing we would we might have missed was a bathtub so it a bit easier to wash up the kids! ( But the shower worked just fine!)

Comfortable, clean and convenient.Rented the home for four nights, and the lower level apartment for three to accommodate a few late arrivals.Entrance to the house and garage from 9th Street was at the level of the main floor which made access easy. Home was clean and well equipped. Only cooked breakfast in, but some of the nicest pots and pans we’ve experienced in a rental. Owners were very easy to work with. Highly recommend.
