It was just ok for us. This property is definitely more suited for adults and older kids, like maybe 7 and above. We had 2 small grandkids so the claw foot tub was an issue…also no drain plug to do baths. Kitchen could also use some upgrades, especially floors and walls. Beds were good, hot tub good but some jets not working and location was good.

Perfect home for a stay close to turquoise lake

This little house was perfect for our overnight stay while we played up at turquoise lake. It had everything we needed, was quiet, comfortable and very close to town and to the road up to the lake. 8 would definitely stay here again!

A nice place to visit

Overall this house is a good place to stay, the hot tube is the biggest draw. The house is a bit dated and you can tell in the bathroom and when it gets really cold outside.

Great little house

Every thing you need to make your stay in Leadville as enjoyable as possible. We’ll equipped kitchen and grill for at home meals, and a nice living room for relaxing after a day outdoors. The hot tub was a welcome and added bonus! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town

Sweet little spot in the mountains

This place was perfect. Views of Elbert and Massive from outside the house call you to the mountains. The house is walkable to Safeway for groceries and downtown to ship or go out to eat. House has vibes of old school miner cabin which we loved. Hot tub was an added bonus!

Cozy and clean mountain home!

We had such a nice stay! The house was super cozy and clean. We were happy to be able to get away for a weekend and stay in a home that felt safe and clean. The hot tub was awesome and overall the home was really comfortable, we would definitely stay here again. The kitchen is a little outdated but very functional and has everything you would need. We would recommend this house for anyone looking to spend some time in a cute mountain town. The property managers made some great recommendations on places to eat in town as well (Treeline and Bucci were great!), we will definitely visit again!

Adequate but needs major upgrades trash under beds dog hair sheets with holes in them

The check-in process between Vrbo and the property manager to pay a remainder of payment due was a nightmare. Thankfully property manager helpful. This is an old house that needs upgrades. Needs new towels. Old bleach stained ones. Needs kitchen towels and dish cloths in kitchen. Needs broom to assist with cleaning. Garbage found under beds. Shower tub high risk for fall holes in sheets as if mouse may have chewed hot tub water needed to be changed Good location close to downtown beds master comfortable light master bedroom needs replacing hanging by thread good location for skiing

Misleading

Overall, we had a great stay. The hot tub was nice and the location was great. However, first impression... we got to the house and the door was wide open and a garden hose thrown in the entry way was leaking water. Next, the house smelled like dead mouse so bad! But all of that aside, the most disturbing and misleading fact about the house is that it's shared. The house has been fabricated so that someone can live in the dwelling. So, there is someone else living in the house that has a dog that barks first thing in the morning. If you're wanting a home to yourself, this is not that. Just FYI.

Cloverleaf - Leadville, CO

Very nice accommodations, it is an older home, which we liked because it had lots of character. The hot tub was awesome, made us want to get one. Shovels provide so we could clear off the deck and a spot for our 7 and 10lb dogs to go potty. The property has a washer and dryer which was great because we were able to repack all clean clothes.. We did bring our own detergent and softener. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking a breeze. The only thing we weren't fond of was the old time claw foot tub/shower, very small with tall sides and for elderly individuals getting in/out of might be a problem. It's located in a very nice, quite neighborhood, close to shopping, and your own parking spot. There is a tenant living in the back of the property but other than seeing a vehicle we didn't even know when they were home. My family had an awesome time and would definitely stay again.

Nicely updated townhouse

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We thoroughly loved having a hot tub, a newly remodeled backyard, living room, and bedrooms. For two people and a couple of dogs, the house is an appropriate size. I was most excited and grateful for the decorated Christmas tree - that was a lovely and thoughtful touch, especially since we couldn't manage to fit it in our vehicle and thule with everything else. The only downside to the property is the level of noise of the surrounding neighborhood and the lack of kitchen and bathroom supplies. We had to run to the store for essentials, such as paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, toilet paper and a few other things. There was also inadequate cooking ware in the kitchen and had to find ways to finish my cooking. With a few added details and upgrades (shower and kitchen) it'll be a great place.

Nice home but no heat

Unfortunately we had no heat the entire stay and with the high being 48 in the day made for very cold nights. The manager did get a handyman out after the first night but was not able to get it working and took me reaching out to find out later in the day. Received space heaters but upset to pay all that money for one night of no sleep and then space heaters the next. Hopefully they will make it right and refund some of the stay as I could have booked elsewhere.

Great getaway for the price!

My husband and I needed a staycation from the city and found this little gem. We love Leadville/Buena Vista because of the incredible mountain ranges around. The kitchen had everything you'd need to whip up meals, it was a great location and the fenced in backyard was incredible for our two pups. When the hot tub wasn't going up from 84 degrees, they were easily accessible and helpful to get it hot again. The main reason I docked a star is because 1. We arrived after dark and there was no light in the backyard to see anything. We found a bright hand light the next morning so that was helpful, but I'm docking a point because there was dog poop still in the backyard from previous tenants. And 2. the renter in the other side of the duplex has a dog and the walls are extremely thin so we heard everything. Overall, great spot for a quick staycation!

Great place for a small family

I was very pleased with my stay. The beds were very comfortable, as wete the couches. The kitchen is great and comes with full kitchen utensils. The only issues I had were small ones. The grill was a little dirty, but that was an easy fix. The remote to the TV in the living room was not connected to the TV at all. Luckily, I have a cable background so I was able to fix that too. The only other issue with the place was the hot tub. One of the main reasons I chose this place was the private hot tub. I never even used it. It had pine needles in it and there was no equipment there to aid in cleaning it out. The water had a ln odd color to it also. My daughter and her friend tried it out anyway, but they weren't in very long. Overall though, it was a great experience. Watch out for flying, stinging insects though.. during spring and summer obviously.

Great Location

We chose this property for its location, as well as for the washer/dryer and hot tub, as it was the middle of our cross country trip. It was close to the grocery store and a great start to get to the Mt Sherman trailhead before the sun came up. The kitchen was cute and had everything we needed to make dinner, and the hot tub was clean for our post-hike relaxing.

A stay at 10,100 feet.

A reassigned property due to construction delays at the original property. Good communication with owner before hand. Large 4 bedroom with plenty of room inside. Hot tub always a plus. A short 5 minute drive to downtown. Not walkable to downtown. Beautiful early cool summer time in the Rockies. Needed the electric fireplaces in the mornings to knock off the chill. Area and Turquoise lake is beautiful. If we are ever up that way would consider staying again.

Great location

Pros: Great location, walkable to downtown Leadville and close drive to many lakes and hikes. Hot tub was clean and hot (104), perfect after hiking. Spacious areas and full kitchen. Comfortable linens and pillows. Nice outdoor space. TV was easy to use. Cons: Leadville was uncommonly warm during our trip, and the house held the heat so it was hot at night (no fans upstairs and unfortunately very little breeze). In the guest room, one of the blinds didn’t lift and the lamp didn’t fully work. The towels smelled a little funky. The claw foot tub shower felt cramped because the curtains close in and tend to touch; temperature was also a little finicky. We had to search for more toilet paper (it wasn’t in the bathroom), and couldn’t find laundry detergent. Had to do a lot for check out even though there is a cleaning fee.

First and Probably Last VRBO booking

Pulling into the property, the initial impression set the tone for the rest of the house. There was a broken 5’ mirror and frame along with a busted up end table cluttering up the side of the driveway. The sidewalk up to the house had a 4’ section that only had a 10-12” flat space in the ice that had shed off the roof. One of our kids about bit it walking up. The house itself was pretty filthy…our boys are “boys” and not much bothers them but they wouldn’t even walk around barefoot because of the grime. The tub/shower is a clawfoot tub and an old and grimy shower curtain. It was gross to say the least. EVERYTIME you would turn in the shower it would stick to you…and the thought of all the other people who took a shower prior too made it unbearable. It can’t possibly get cleaned properly and based on the rest of the house it’s doubtful. The hot tub was filthy, the fence next to the hot tub had no less than 30 clumps of hair that prior users just flung out of the tub and against the fence. The Ring camera placed over the hot tub also did not give a sense of privacy…who knows how many other cameras on the property we couldn’t see. I will say that we are a pretty easy going non-germaphobe family but this place was just plain gross. This being our first VRBO experience, it might be our last.

Great stay in Leadville

Nice property with all of the necessities of a rental property. Beds were comfy and the bunk bed was great for the kids. Close to Ski Cooper and walking distance to stores and restaurants in Leadville. Great location. Really liked the separate towels for the hot tub. We had everything we needed!

Great location and comfortable

We had a great time in Leadville, which is full of pleasant surprises and has something for everyone. This house was in a great location, as mentioned in other reviews, walking distance from town as well as the Mineral Trail. I would recommend fully reading the details of the home, even as a thorough details kinda gal., there were some things I missed and didn’t pick up on until we were there. The house was clean and well stocked with the things we needed. The dishes and kitchen wares were all in great shape which can be uncommon in vacation rentals. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and I appreciated having space to unpack a bit. Part of the charm of this home is its age. With that comes
