The space
After a day of exploring the mountains or desert around Escalante, wash the trail dust off in a warm shower and let your muscles recover during a peaceful nights rest on the queen size bed. Open the windows at night to experience the 30-40 degree cooldown from the warm temperature of the daytime and the night sounds of a rural community. View the expanse of space from the back patio. We just LOVED the little house! When we first walked in we thought, oh my, this is awfully small. But it became immediately clear that it was so efficiently organized (and adorable) that we were very comfortable. Melani was very responsive and it was a real treat staying there. Highly recommended!

It was the perfect little place. The sign out front made it easy to find. I was impressed with the place as soon as I walked in the door. Great set up. I love the decor, the welcome sign, the quilt, flowers on the table. It made the place very inviting. The place had everything we needed for cooking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice to just be “home” after a day of hiking, to be able to eat in after showering, and watch Netflix in our lounge clothes. Melani made sure we had everything we needed.
