Everything about this condo was wonderful. A couple of glitches but was immediately taken care of by our hosts. The view of the ocean from our balcony was absolutely beautiful. Special thanks to David and Lisa for taking such great care of us during our stay!

Beautiful beach view with a lovely screened in balcony. Although it is listed in the description that the unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator, it is difficult to carry all of your luggage up or go up and down several times a day. Communication with the host could have been better. There were a couple of times that I left a message and didn't hear for over 48 hours.

Great little getaway

My husband and I had a great time at the Palmwood Villa. The condo was so cute and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was decorated so pretty and you could tell that the owners really take pride in the condo. The views were beautiful- especially the sun rises from the porch. I hope we get the opportunity to stay again.

Great Place!

This was a perfect condo for my family on our last vacation before school. We had a great view, clean condo and an absolute wonderful week! I highly recommend this condo! The owners were responsive and checked in with me when we first arrived and answered any question I had in a timely manner. Can’t wait to book again for 2024!

Cute and clean

Cute and very clean condo and condo complex. Great area of North Myrtle Beach, quiet and relaxing. The condo had everything we needed for a fun stay. Really appreciated the easy checkin and checkout. Also the host gave wonderful directions to the condo which made our trip 15 minutes shorter. We plan on visiting again soon.

Absolutely love this place. Everything was clean and well stocked. The view was amazing. And very good communications with the host. Any questions we had we texted them and they got back to me very quickly. I give this place a five star on everything and would return for sure.

From our initial booking through departure, my husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience dealing with Lisa. Condo looks just like the photos, and was very neat and tidy. Great beach location and close to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer. Looking forward to booking again in 2025!

Relaxing beach getaway

The depiction of the rental is very accurate for what's listed in VRBO. It has everything we needed and wanted, and more! The shed downstairs with pool/beach supplies was great. The neighborhood is nice and quiet (In October, but still), the condo is well-stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Recommended!

Good beachfront location

Other than the stairs the property is in a convenient location and has easy beach access and a nice pool. They didn’t leave us a parking pass so we constantly had notes on our car telling us it would be towed. Balcony was always hot from the AC unit but the views were worth it, especially for sun and moon rises.

Looks exactly like pictures. Perfect for my husband and me. Very clean!! Kudos to housekeeping company used by hosts!! Beach is nice in this section. Condo is close to restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment. Too many steps if you have mobility issues- no elevator

Fabulous View

Our family of 4 loved our stay. We hand enough space. I loved the balcony being accessible from the master. The building and area is very quiet. Pool area cute and just the right size for the building. The condo had so much natural light. The best part however was the phenomenal view!!!!I watched the sunrise as I drank my coffee. Will be back!!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this beachfront condo! The location was absolutely unbeatable—just steps from the sand with stunning ocean views from the balcony. The condo was clean, and exactly as described. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves. This was fully disclosed in the description, but there are quite a few stairs to get to the unit, so pack light and be ready for a bit of a workout. That said, the views and beach access made it totally worth it. Great communication with the host and easy check in. We’d definitely come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge by the beach!

Awesome Vacation!

We LOVE the Palmwood Villas! This was our 2nd time staying here but our first in this condo and we definitely liked this one better! Everything was clean and the location was amazing. We liked the hard floors, rather than carpet. The views from the balcony and huge window in the condo are breathtaking. Steps from the beach and pool. Close enough to run up and grab more drinks or a sandwich for your beach day. 5 minutes from Barefoot Landing and so many other attractions. The host answered all of our questions immediately while we were there. Our only regret was not booking 2 weeks! Thank you for a wonderful family getaway. We will definitely be back!

Great location on Ocean

Pros: The condo was very clean, in a great location (close to everything), sufficient kitchen supplies and has a nice pool. Wonderful view too. Cons: you have to make up your own beds. We got in really late at night and we just wanted to go to bed only to find that none of the beds had sheets on them. There was a big bag of linens in the living room that we had to dig out that had the bed sheets, bath towels and kitchen towels. Not how I wanted to start out my vacation. The remote in the living room was missing, contacted the owner who just suggested places we could look to try to find. Never did. The lock to the storage area was difficult to open to get out beach equipment. We also had to empty the dehumidifier daily that was in the living room…. Kind of a pain. The balcony had a large AC unit on it that generated a large amount of heat where you couldn’t sit in front of it comfortably. In the end, this place just wasn’t for us.

Hi Julie, thank you for the review and the feedback. The reason why we have our bed sheet linens in a bag is for sanitary purposes. Many of our guests prefer this as they know that the sheets they are using are fresh and clean. The AC unit does pump out heat, in order to resolve this, the ACs in the three rooms can be turned down or off while you’re enjoying the patio. Thank you also for the feedback for the dehumidifier, we are working up a solution to resolve that. It really does keep the unit nice and cool when running. We are sorry that we missed the mark on your expectations, and we really appreciated you staying at Palmwood 303.

Overall, we enjoyed several aspects of our stay. The ocean view was great, the check-in process was simple and convenient, and having access to the storage closet with beach chairs and other beach items was a nice bonus. The beach is only a short walk away, and the host was very responsive whenever we had questions.That said, there were several maintenance and safety issues that future guests should be aware of. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage and belongings up six flights of stairs. Upon arrival, the linens had not been put away and were still in the dryer.The condo could use some updating and routine maintenance. The kitchen drawer is off its track and barely opens. The master shower is very small, the shower floor dips down, and it becomes extremely slippery when wet. Neither the sliding glass door to the deck nor the bedroom door stays shut properly, even though both lock. There is also a protruding nail pop in the master bathroom floor that creates a tripping hazard.In the second bathroom, the hot water at the sink did not work, and the drain backed up while using it. The electronic door lock was also difficult to hear, and at times it announced that the door was not locked even though it actually was.My biggest concern was the storage unit. It has exposed rusty nails protruding from it, and I cut my hand on one during our stay. This is a safety hazard that should be addressed immediately to prevent someone else from getting injured.

Very comfortable Condo exactly as described and pictured. Kitchen well appointed with anything you'd need. The view is absolutely amazing from the enclosed balcony. Owner is friendly and quickly answered any questions. My family, along with other families travel to NMB and stay in this complex every year (for past 13 years)-this was our first time renting this particular unit and I actually tired to rent it again for next year as we were driving home! Unfortunately already rented for our week but I was obviously very happy with our rental!! We have never stayed on 3rd level before, the view is worth every stair!

Mediocre experience overall. We needed to delay check-in at the owner’s request for a cleaning delay, only to find out the next day the cleaner never came the day before. Very frustrated about the situation. With how high the cleaning fees are, I should have been told up front the place wasn’t going to be cleaned prior to our arrival or offered some reimbursement of those fees, especially after we wasted time waiting for the place to be cleaned. I had to wash the bedding and towels the night of arrival in order to make up the beds and have enough clean linens. The owner did offer the following morning that the cleaner stop by, but my kids were still sleeping, we had already used the bathrooms/showers, and were settled in. No toys/balls allowed in the pool, which basically removes the fun for kids playing in the pool. Between the poor communication/cleaning issues, needing to bring own paper products, needing to make up our own beds, basically clean the place again BEFORE leaving, and sending me a parking pass only the day before needing to be printed (we were already on the road without printer access), we just didn’t love our time there. The view was great, but the experience was okay.
