Fabulous house - the location was great - literally 3-6 min by car to everything we wanted to to do RAD, West Asheville, Downtown. Beds great - with separate bathrooms and shower in each bedroom and a third off the kitchen - for four traveling adults that was a really nice / essential - no spending vacation waiting for toliet / showering. The porch is amazing - a great place to start the day with coffee and end night with a cocktail.

As others have said, the interior of Georgia's home is clean and filled with beautiful details and a lovely master bath. We encountered a few problems, but nothing that diminished the pleasure of our visit to Asheville.

Stayed 5 days in July 2026. Place was as advertised. Nice A/C, easy in and out. Big wrap-around porch was convenient for morning and evening breaks from activities. Close to everything. Only negative: bathtub and shower were extremely slippery. We picked up cheap rubber or vinyl bath mats from Walmart that worked well. Would stay again.

First of all, great communication, when we arrived, delicious cookies and my family is not a huge fan of coconut but they are all gone! I mainly booked this place because I loved it and was so excited however my husband and our kids 10 and 8 were excited too! We were close to everything, felt very safe and slept well!

We enjoyed our stay on our “sister’s trip”. The beds were super comfortable. The owner greeted us with a note and a fresh plate of cookies. Location was close to EVERTHING.

We absolutely loved our stay at Green Gables! The perfect location to explore all that the Asheville area offers. Georgia was a wonderful host, communication was great and she even brought us some homemade cookies. Sweet! The house was as advertised, beautifully appointed throughout with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the Asheville history books and visitor guides available. We are already contemplating our next visit to Asheville and we hope to stay here again.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a race that was happening in the area. The house was beautiful, with a lovely antique vibe, and nice amenities. The location was great for exploring the downtown areas, we were able to easily uber and walk for most of the trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Green Gables! It’s a beautiful property, and in a great location. Our host, Georgia, was very accommodating and a great communicator… and seeing cookies waiting for us upon our unexpected late arrival was a nice surprise! Our 2 pugs enjoyed the stay, as well. Would recommend Green Gables to anyone!

Great Location

We really enjoyed the proximity to the Arts District, restaurants and coffee shops. Additionally, the fenced in front yard for our dog was a huge plus. We often sat on the covered front porch to relax.

Amazing stay! Our host thought of everything. Property was perfectly appointed. Our favorite thing was the wrap around porch for morning coffee and evening reflections. Could not have asked for anything more (and there were cookies )
