The Dim Light’s newest property offers four individual boutique-style apartments, each featuring their own brand new kitchen, modern bathroom and stylish living areas. We are located within walking distance (or a 2 min drive) to the most popular restaurants, bars, theaters, boutiques and convention spaces in downtown Paducah. Enjoy watching movies under the stars with our outdoor movie theatre, featuring a 20 ft screen! Take a ride around historic downtown on the bikes provided during your stay!
The Dim Light: Lower Town features four completely private condos. Guests will have their own kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. In addition, each apartment comes with its own private outdoor patio. However, the backyard “hang out” space is open for all of our guests to enjoy. The Outdoor Theatre is operated on a “first come first served” basis, but we do ask that you’re considerate of your fellow guests.
LowerTown is one of Paducah`s oldest and most historic residential neighborhoods. We provide our guests with access to two bikes to use during their stay to explore all that Paducah has to offer. Take a quick ride down to Market House Square for Ice Cream or an evening ride along the River Front. Parking is very easy to come by in the neighborhood. We are located a couple of blocks off of “the loop”, so easy access to all areas of Paducah as well as access to the best hiking locations in the area. Garden of the God’s and Shawnee National Forest are all within an easy drive. Kentucky Lake is located about 30 minutes away for fishing tournaments or a day on the water

Wonderful location, well appointed with all necessities and extras. Host was super responsive even for trivial requests. Would absolutely rate as 5 star accommodation.
we were extremely comfortable in this lovely space, the location was perfect for walking to the historic downtown and water front. we enjoyed the bicycles for exploring as well and the outdoors large screen would have been wonderful if we had service passcodes for movies. Would definitely stay here again!
My husband and I loved this apartment. Great price, great location. I was able to walk to the beautiful historic downtown and lowertown areas of Paducah with ease while my husband attended meetings in the area. There are several museums, the riverfront, and great restaurants all in walking distance from the apartment. The only minor complaint was the room temperature. It was quite hot outside and for some reason the thermostat kept going up while we were out of the apartment, so it took a long time for the ac to catch back up and keep it cool. Our host was quick to respond and very helpful.
The unit was great, clean, friendly area. We were a little too far to walk to downtown back and forth as many times as we needed to. An extra blanket would have been needed and a full length mirror is a must for women.
Great price as well. A collegue stayed at the other property on 3rd street and was a much better location for the even we were at. Walking distance everywhere. Will be back next year.
This is one of four nicely rehabbed apartments in a cool old building. The quality of the furnishings is very high - the towels are nicer than what we have at home. Quite high tech with computer controllable lighting, thermostat, etc. We heard no noise from other tenants, so felt nice and private. There's no elevator so you might prefer apartment 1 or 2 if you're older (as we are). We'd be happy to return next time our travels include Paducah.
