We stayed in Brittany's house while we visited family in Lakeville. The property was located within a mile of Lime Rock Park. The house is very well appointed with comfortable beds and linens. We enjoyed the light filled common areas on the main floor. The home has a lovely view of the surrounding acreage and the Housatonic River. It is a 12-15 minute drive to Lakeville and Salisbury and about a 20 minute drive to Millerton.
Love the home, perfectly appointed, no mess, no dust, no odor, just right! Clean lux sheets, outstanding location, great communication (really great communication)! Will return!
We rented this house during Salisbury School’s graduation. It was the perfect place for family members to spend time together in between the week’s festivities. We loved the spacious and comfortable common areas on the main floor, including a nice fireplace and lots of natural light. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were nicely appointed. There was only 1 bathroom upstairs to share among several of us, but we knew that when we rented and it wasn’t a big deal. There were a few small cleaning issues, including dirt and a cluster of dead gnats inside one of the doors in the main room that we swept when we arrived. While it was too cold to spend time outside during our stay, there wouldn’t have been any place for all of us to sit. There was a random outdoor patio table off to the side of the driveway, but it was on a hill (and almost looked more like it was being discarded than intended for any purpose). The grass was also in need of mowing, but we assume the rain had made that difficult leading up to our stay. It didn’t matter to us while we were there, but I will note that there’s no TV or microwave, in case that’s important for future renters. Al in all, it was a charming house that met our needs perfectly to gather as a family for 4 days.
