Location blocks from the cute little town of Brethren. Be the first guest's to enjoy the 2-bedroom, 1 bath cottage with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, beautiful quartz countertops and Amish crafted cupboards. One bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, the other with a relaxing queen. Here you will have the enjoyment of the beautiful great outdoors. During the day you can make wonderful memories in the woods, on the river, at the softball/baseball fields and park for kids right next to cottage. Enjoy the beach, 3blocks north of the cabin. Kayaking or canoeing that are all within walking distance. Great golf courses for a ladies weekend or men's golf weekend. Other activities include blue ribbon trout fishing, steel head and salmon fishing within 5 minutes at the mystical Manistee River and Bear Creek. There are miles of hunting, hiking, trail riding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and enjoying the pristine fall colors that nature has to offer within minutes at the Manistee National Forest. There is a fish cleaning station close to the property, no cleaning fish in the cabin and no smoking. If you prefer a night out on the town, the Little River Casino is only 18 minutes away. We have a little bit of everything to offer and can't wait to host you!

A little gem

My kids and I had a wonderful time here. The place was perfect for the three of us..very cute and quaint. There was a lake right across the road with a beach and my kids loved going there

Great place to stay while fishing the Manistee.

Perfect location for our fishing trip this fall. Clean and comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest would be allowing the thermostat to be set lower than 70 degrees.

Awesome Cabin, Great Location

This place is really nice. Everything looks new and is very well kept. We stayed here for a weekend of skiing and it's a perfect location for Crystal and/or Caberfae. Owner was very helpful and attentive. We will definitely stay here again if it's available for future trips! Thank you!!

Brethren Cottage

My wife and I spent the weekend at the property for a Steelhead fishing trip. The property was new, clean, and well-kept. We greatly appreciated the laundry, and all the supplies we needed were present, so we didn't have to bring or buy any household items. If you are in the area and looking for a rental, I highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to the owners!

Perfect House for Skiing Getaway

Our family of 5 stayed at this lovely home while skiing at Crystal Mountain. Well appointed, very clean, nice and new- described exactly as is! Great communication with Patrick, no problems whatsoever! We hope to stay here again when we are back in the area!

Perfect place for Manistee river fisherman!!

This place still appears brand new. It's Simple and perfect!! And everything our family of four needed to get away for a few days during spring break! They even have a circle drive to accommodate those towing boats! We've stayed in a bunch of VRBO homes and never had the excellent communication and understanding that we received during this particular stay!!!

Great place

We stayed here to travel around the western coast of Michigan. The place was great and met our needs. My only suggestions would be to have some box fans available since there are no ceiling fans. Some Tupperware would be useful in the kitchen for leftovers, too.

Fishing Trip Stay

A beautiful hidden gem of a property that will quickly become a well known amazing cabin for vacationers, hunters, and fishermen/women. Fresh new property that has all the amenities and a wonderful owner who is easy to reach. Super clean and comfortable. I had a great fishing trip on the Manistee River with Captain Darryl Holtz. Incredible boat, fantastic knowledge of the river. Call him @248-210-0827 and rent this dream cabin for a wonderful fishing trip experience or vacation stay. I already have rebooked!!

Clean and simple. Nice new home in the trees, yes it is in a neighborhood, but it is quiet. Peaceful is what we were looking for and is what we found. You are 20 minutes from everything you could want. Great nursery's in the area. I came home with 3 new plants! We had no reason to reach out to the owner, so cannot comment on that.
