Everyone had a wonderful time, it snowed the last night we were there which made it even nicer. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the game room. Spacious enough for everyone to hang out together, but also plenty of room to relax by yourself if you wanted to. We enjoyed watching the numerous deer that visited each day. Great location.
Thank you Everett and Vicky for sharing your fabulous mountain cabin. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 children(5&7). We really enjoyed the fire pit and the boys saw tons of wildlife. The driveway is flat with plenty of parking. The cabin is convenient to Beech mtn, Blowing Rock, Grandfather mountain and Boone. We really enjoyed our stay!
Thanks again!
The house and location were great! Communication was responded to in a timely manner. A couple of issues with dirty sheets on a pullout bed and dirty dishes put up in cabinets, but the house was in good order and clean overall. We would definitely stay at this property again!
Lovely cabin and location. Kitchen tools could use a bit of updating. Hand mixer doesn’t work and there is only one big knife. Kids loved the air hockey table.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for letting us know about the hand blender and knife. We will take care of it this week.
First of all let me say we enjoyed our stay. This was a great location ,near Grandfather Mountain and other attractions. The cabin had a well equipped kitchen, main living room with a fire place, nice beds and baths. We would book this property again. A few maintenance items the owner might want to address, the area rug in the living room is curled up along the edge which is a tripping hazard ,Ask me how ii know, there is a closet door broken up stairs ,the air hockey table has a broken power cord which is a fire hazard so we unplugged it.

Thank you for staying with us. Your feedback helps us make sure we take care of unforeseen issues. The closet door is now fixed. Did not know the air hockey table issue. Will look into it.
The property was very adequate for our large family group with lots of room for kids to play. Beds were comfortable and the big dining table was great for family meals. The house needs some maintenance upkeep. Sliding screen door was sitting on the outdoor table. The grill was unusable and the pull out couch was broken. The downstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced.
We did enjoy the cool weather of Beech Mountain and the fireworks were amazing.
Property was awesome!!! Could see the slopes from the upstairs queen bedroom! Only two complaints:
1. Living room rug is a trip hazard (curls up on one end)
2. Some of the linen needs updating
Minor things!! The property actually changed hands prior to our rental, but the new owners were awesome with honoring our reservations and communicating! Will definitely be back!!!

Hi Lorenzo,
Thank you for the feedback and staying with us. Since our purchase of the property we have been updating things as we uncover them. We will be making additional updates this spring.
The cabin is gorgeous. There was ample room for everyone in our 6 person group to spread out. We were greeted by a deer at the front of the cabin on arrival. I would recommend this cabin for anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The kitchen is well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and has a large and friendly deer population. The quaint ski town of Beech Mountain is near by for dining out and general store needs. The roads are steep and full of tight switchbacks that may be challenging in snowy or icy weather. My travel tip is to use the actual GPS coordinates to find the cabin. Depending on you navigation software you may end up at the wrong address on your first attempt if you simply enter the address for your destination. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for staying with us and glad you had a wonderful time. We do provide the GPS coordinates in the instructions for your stay ahead of your travel. Have not had issues with directions with prior guests with just the address.
Overall , it was a great week. Although when we arrived the refrigerator was not working!! We were eager to get our 400 dollars of groceries put in the refrigerator ! After a lot of communication with the owner/property manager and repair man. We ended up taking the repair man’s advice and we removed the back of the fridge and placed a box fan in the back. We then at property owners suggestion went to local store and purchased coolers and bags of ice, this did keep our groceries from spoiling. The refrigerator was repaired on late Thursday afternoon, we did check in on Monday. The dishwasher had to be run 3 times each load to get dishes clean. Check in instructions were not sent, I had to reach out to owner /property manager for instructions after arrival. We did appreciate the spacious home and it accommodated my family of 11 very well.

Carol,
Thank you for staying with us. Our apologies again for the refrigerator issue that was discovered in the evening. We have great repair services and expedited the parts for earliest delivery which was a few days out unfortunately.
I found the best possible alternative for your food on short notice late in the evening. We did give you an adjustment for the inconvenience and the additional expenses.
Thank you for letting us know of the dishwasher and it is being taken care of.
We regret the inconvenience but sincerely hope that you come back again and enjoy our cabin and Beech Mountain.

Girls weekend at Beech Mtn
The property was spacious and nicely decorated with plenty of room. However, the cleanliness was somewhat suspect. It seems the main living room/kitchen/dining room had not been swept. Debris under dining table and throughout. The carpets on bottom and top floors also were not adequately vacuumed. There was hair in bottom level bathroom. A candy wrapper was found in one of the upstairs bedsheets. The refrigerator was not cleaned-- especially the door shelves were dirty. The exterior grill was very dirty. We had to clean prior to cooking. We also cleaned it before we left. however, there was not a good scrub tool so we had to make do with what we had to do the cleaning. There were sheets wadded up on the bottom level sofa. We did not touch these since we did not know if they were clean or dirty. Upon arrival the sliding glass door to the exterior deck was left unlocked. Screens on the exterior sliding doors on main level had damage. The refrigerator did not seem to keep a cold temperature. I texted the host and got no response at all. The freezer section was working, so we kept moving freezer packs to the fridge side to help keep cold. We were told toilet paper was supplied. It was not in all bathrooms. I suggest that a grill spatula be provided as the tongs sometimes are not adequate. We were told a drip coffee maker would be present. We could not find it. While this seems like a long list, the main issue was lack of pristine cleanliness. For the price, we felt like it should have been much cleaner -- especially since we are not fully out of the pandemic. Also, I would suggest that you warn guests that there is a considerable distance to travel on gravel roads. The area is beautiful, and we had a good weekend.

Amanda,
Our apologies for the issues. This was a tough review to read. Never had these many issues before. We have taken the following actions
- Changed the cleaning crew. Looks like they did not clean at all.
- Refrigerator has been fully repaired.
- Will be looking to put in a drip coffee maker at the earliest. The listing does indicate we only have a keurig right now.
Your feedback helps us make sure that future guests have a enjoyable weekend similar to our other reviews.
Thank you again and our sincere apologies.
Cabin is beautiful and, as expected, housed our entire large family comfortably. Deer abound in the area, and the view from the cabin windows is stunning. Kitchen was well furnished with what we needed for our meal prep. Overall, wonderful stay!
Great cabin for a little family getaway. The location was great and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Thank you to VJ and Ana for allowing my family and I to stay in their beautiful cabin!
I honestly recomend this beautiful cabin to spend your stay at North Carolina was a exceptional experience, beech Mountain is amazing o will rent it again for sure, clean and beautiful
The house is very nice and spacious. It's great for a large group. Would stay again. However, when you have a house that can accommodate up to 14 people you really need to have a much better coffee pot. It was small and very slow. And yes they say in the description that it was a kuerig however that is just not big enough for so many people.(we had 11). And I feel the house could use a few more towels over all. That being said I would stay there again.
Everything was Excellent! P.s. only issue f.y.i. showers do not drain ! And maybe a snow shovel ! Lol ! Great winter storm !!!! 😁

Thank you for the feedback. We switched to a new snow clearing service and should have more regular service in future and plumbing issues are being taken care of.

My wife and I grew up going to vacation in mountains almost every year. I had done a lot of hiking in my teenage years and always craved to be outdoors. We fell in love with Beech Mountain area and its natural beauty.
We fell in love with this cabin the moment we stepped in. It took us 10 minutes to decide to buy it. It is a perfect place for our family with all of the conveniences of home. We also wanted a place close to the ski slopes in winter and golfing in summer and surrounded by nature. It is a traditional cabin but very contemporary in terms of amenities and convenience.
Why they chose this property
This cabin is a home away from home. There are all of the conveniences of a well-stocked kitchen. You can relax on the back deck and watch the wildlife, or you can sit and watch your kids play in the natural area in the back yard. At night you can gather family and friends around the fire pit. The downstairs rec room is a great place to watch movies or play games. All of the TV's are Smart TV's for you to access your internet accounts while at the cabin. The cabin is a short walk from some of the best hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains with waterfalls and trout filled ponds.
