(It's the closest cabin you can rent near the lake!!) From boating, kayaking, hunting and fishing to cross country skiing and ice fishing, the Oar House offers year-round attractions enjoyable for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. Right outside your front door you will find hiking, snowmobile trails and hunting lands or drive just minutes to the Beaver Valley Marina to enjoy your day boating on the beautiful Glendale Lake. Dine in by grilling out on our secluded back deck and wrap up your night nestled around a campfire at our fire pit. The mountains are calling and this newly renovated and spacious cabin has all of the amenities required to make this a relaxing stay that you will never forget!

The Oar House is just secluded enough to enjoy quiet, peaceful time. The master bed is lovely and the surroundings were serene. This is a must stay!

It was great! We flew in from Oregon and our son flew in from Georgia to attend a week-long family reunion at Prince Gallitzen State Park. The rest of our very large extended family have RVs to stay at the campground, so the three of us used OarHouse as our refuge when we needed to break away for some quiet time! And boy, it was a godsend! The house was everything we hoped it would be, and more! So comfortable and so clean. The perfect refuge! Thank you Andy. We hope to stay at OarHouse again in the future!

Excellent accommodations. Wide open space for gathering between kitchen, dining and living room. Great outdoor deck and fire pit area. Close to Prince Galitzin SP hiking trails. Only a 10 min. drive to Coalport for groceries at Leyo’s and local pubs and restaurants. Overall very comfortable stay.

Great place to stay when visiting family

I stayed at the Oar House to visit my family. It was a perfect location for me to work remotely peacefully and also spend time with my family. My parents stayed one night and it was the perfect "hang out".

We had a great time at Oar House. We were surprised that the house was furnished eating and cooking utensils, games, coloring books and crayons and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom.
