Everything was presented accurately in the posting, the hostess stayed in contact with us via text, the house was perfect for our needs, very well kept, clean and comfortable.
It was the BEST experience I ve had in a long time. My family enjoyed it, my 5 year old didn’t want to leave and was thrilled in feeding the animals every day! It was the perfect disconnect while my daughter attended Texas State camp. I would definitely stay here again.
The farm house was very nice and clean. It was a nice get away from the city without being too far from the city. As our oldest is at Texas State, we will book again. The kids loved the animals and the outside area.
Such a great time! We were there for a college visit and it was a great time! Close enough to campus. Peaceful and beautiful hill country. Goats, pigs, horses and donkey was a bonus!
Stayed with my wife and kids for 5 das during spring break. We loved the property. My youngest loved all the animals. It is close enough to everything in San Marcos but far enough away for that quiet country feel we were looking for. Overall great place to stay.
Very clean and INTERESTING lodging! I've never rented a place before that came with farm animals! :-) Megan was super responsive to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay.
The house was spacious enough for the whole family and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was clean and organzied. The animals were so nice and kept us entertained. We had a great time!
The property was beautiful and easy to find. The house had everything we needed. Megan was a fantastic host, very good communication and helpful. We got to meet her at the farm and she was lovely and gave us local recommendations. We had a great family weekend with a toddler and adults. The animals were very friendly and fun.
We had such an amazing experience at the property! We loved all the animals and had a great time feeding and bonding with them. We also made friends with the 2 doggy’s next door. It was a short drive into town we had a great breakfast at Root Cellar Cafe and spent the rest of our time relaxing on the grounds and in the house. Would definitely return. Our kids wanted to move in lol
The house was clean, we saw very few critters which says alot for being out in the country! The home has big windows in each room but no curtains on most of them so if you want to close curtains at night just keep this in mind. We got to see the horses although they do not come out of their pasture. The goats and pigs do though! We enjoyed having them hang around. They love people! The goats stayed on the porch most of the time and always wanted to be by us. We got attached to them, they're so sweet! It was so peaceful. I also enjoyed the big bathtub. Beds were comfortable.
Great place to stay if you want to enjoy the peacefulness of nature and be a quick drive to town. The house was well stocked and communication with the host was excellent! Would highly recommend this place!
This is an adorable house. Megan was extremely helpful and courteous. We enjoyed the animals on the property as well as the deer that frequent it. We saw a beautiful hawk as well. The property offers all you will need for an enjoyable stay.
Beautiful property with a very clean house. Spacious bathroom, enough for a big family of four. The animals on site were our pets for the weekend, a special bonus for the kids. The location was great because it was close to different areas of Texas but remote enough to feel like a peaceful retreat in the country.
