About the host
Hosted by Christina Miller
My husband and I have lived on the Kenai Peninsula for more than 20 years. We have a small farm where we raise dairy goats, highland cows and a small flock of chickens. We grow a large garden where we raise the bulk of our food and I spend the fall harvest season canning and storing for winter consumption. We also enjoy fishing, hiking, berry picking and anything outdoors. We love Alaska and all it has to offer in self sufficiency. We look forward to hosting many people from all over who come to experience this amazing place that we call home.
Why they chose this property
The house is a three story home with the daylight basement being partially accessable for guests(one bedroom, bath and living room) and the main floor and loft set up as our VRBO. This home is our winter farm property and does have several barns and outbuildings but all animals will be at summer pasture. We live just 10 minutes away if we are needed for any reason. If even more room is need for large groups check out my other listing on the street with room for 4 more.
What makes this property unique
Our home sits on 2 acres bordering the National Wildlife refuge. It sits on the ridge overlooking the Kenai Mountains in a small, friendly neighborhood.
